1966; Ebirah, Horror of the Deep or Godzilla Ebirah Mothra: Nankai no Daikettō is the seventh installment of Godzilla films, and also the second and last appearance of DaisensoGoji (or NankaiGoji for this film ). The DaisensoGoji suit was being relegated as a stunt suit used in swimming scenes in the following films : Son of Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, and Godzilla vs Hedorah.
DaisensoGoji's head also later used in Ultraman first series, known as Jirass /Jirasu combined with MosuGoji body.....
Goji still retains his somewhat comedic looks, and the Battle also still has some slapstic touch in it, for example how the music changed when Goji engaged the Red Bamboo jet fighters or how the famous "rock-toss" game introduced in Gt3HM is still being played
The two most famous male cast in the original Gojira also played on this film, Akira Takarada (Hideo Ogata in Gojira) and Akihiko Hirata (Dr.Daisuke Serizawa) along with the beautiful Kumi Mizuno.
Goji did try to have a go with her!!! ...... just look at how Goji rubs his nose in pride after defeating the Giant Condor... looks like a young boy fell in love to me!!
After this film, the suit will be changed to MusukoGoji which is one of the worst Goji design ever made..... and thinking about the prospect of editing MusukoGoji makes me sick already....
This film also marks the end of Shodai Mothra Imago usage in Godzilla installment, and the fans will have to wait for another 26 years to see Mothra again along with the young Akira Takarada ...
both will return in the 1992 Godzilla vs Mothra. (the Shodai Mothra Larva still appeared in Destroy All Monsters in 1968)
The reason why I made this film's edit instead of Astro Monsters is because the Kaiju appeared in Astro Monsters are basically the same with Gt3HM and this one has Ebirah in it...... Goji will have a great time indeed!! ... Lobster anyone??? ....

the Godzilla Wiki (Wikizilla) made a mistake in identifying the Red Bamboo jet fighter appared in this film, they wrote it was Shenyang J-6/F-6/ Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19 "Farmer, but the correct one is Chengdu J-7/F-7 or Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 "Fishbed"
which appeared in the original poster too and thats why I used Shenyang F-6 in this edit....... I only realized it after I finished this edit and it would be a pain to replace all the jets....
Looks like they did used the Chengdu J-7/F-7 props in the film but used Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 "Fishbed" in the original poster. Keep in mind that the Chinese version is the modified ones of its Russian counterpart.
