Have you ever seen stars
in broad daylight before?
It's really a beautiful thing -
they're always fighting
to shine even brighter
than the sun they revolve around,
and their glittering eyes
always look toward
the sky
The moon and the sun and
those galaxies and shooting stars
are all so beautiful,
but every time I tried to fight
to become one too,
I learned that I couldn't
breathe in places
with no oxygen
Those were the glory days
when I still had time left -
I fought in sweat, tears and blood
and without any breath in my lungs
to try and catch up, but now
I have fallen down
and it's unnecessary
to get back up
There's nothing to
fight for anymore
Let me tell you a bittersweet
story using six words:
I loved those stars
so much
I wanted to be one too
In the sun,
their eyes sparkle
even brighter than diamonds
because the dreams they carry
are worth nothing
and yet they are
priceless
in broad daylight before?
