Unlike most fairies she is able to use multiple forms of magic. At one point she was the mermaid princess of the Indian Ocean until tragedy struck (Canon Profile). It was believed that she had disappeared from the world but in reality she was reborn into the realm of fairies. She starts out as a Dark Fairy as her feelings of hatred returned due to a witch's spell. She remains this way until her heart is purified.
