Jake’s Ultimate Fury! Part 2

Jake, Trev, Daniel, Steve, Ricochet (known as Rico), and Jacob spent the next several weeks searching over every possible clue and laid the rest of their comrades to rest. It was very emotional for all of them, especially Jake. Jake spent a great deal of time outside in the backyard, kneeling at his altar, praying and meditating on everything that had been uncovered. Jake suffered countless sleepless nights due to being haunted by all of the images of the deaths of his friends and family.
“I can’t take it anymore,” Jake said one morning as he sipped on his 10th cup of coffee, “Nothing is helping to drive away my nightmares. I can feel myself getting drained and I’m at the point of attempting suicide again.”
“You know that it won’t work, Jake,” Trev commented as he patted Jake on the shoulder.
“I know,” Jake snarled in frustration, “And I’m sure that is the plan of the bastards behind this. They want me as weak as possible so they can humiliate me before killing me.”
“But how can they kill you, Father?” Rico asked, “Ever since I was a pup, you’ve receive countless “fatal” wounds but have still lived?”
“They have Anti-Were rounds this time around, son,” Jake responded, “Otherwise Tyler, Derek, and all of the others would still be with us.”
“Okay, Father,” Rico stated, “But why now?”
“I don’t know and that is what’s so frustrating about the whole thing,” Jake replied.
Rico gave Jake a big hug and Jake hugged his son back. Soon, all of them went into the living room to watch some TV. Suddenly, a special report was shown that showed a white kitsune with six tails battling an opponent dressed in jet black and blood red samurai attire from head to foot. Both were skilled with swords, but the one in the black and red outfit ended up slicing off the sword hand of the kitsune. The black and red samurai then used his swords to shred the kitsune and then cut off the kitsune’s head to finish the kitsune off. Jake’s eyes went wide and then narrowed with his fur on the back of his neck sticking straight up.
“So that’s how Jack died,” Jake growled, “Damn it all.”
Jake got up and paced while growling.
“That tape must have just been released,” Jacob stated, “Since we heard of Jack’s death a few weeks ago.”
“That doesn’t ease my pain,” Jake snarled, “I have very little left when it comes to friends and family.”
With a huff, Jake headed out the back door. Several weeks later, Steve and a few others that were close to Jake were brutally murdered. Jake spent several days and nights at his altar, crying and praying. During that period of time, Jake neither ate nor slept. All that Jake had left was his brothers; Daniel, Jacob, and Trev, and his son Ricochet. To further Jake’s frustration, the military cut all of his Unit’s funding and all contracts that J-Unit had with weapons development were terminated. Jake smiled as he, Jacob, Trev, Daniel, and Rico watched the news with reports of weapon malfunctions.
“Those fools didn’t realize that our plans were left incomplete on purpose,” Jake said as he turned off the TV, “But what is there to live for now that everything is over?”
“There is still hope, Father,” Rico replied as he pulled out a small stack of papers, “I’ve been in contact with a group that knows and understands what is going on and I believe that they can help us out.”
Jake looked at Rico and held out a hand-paw. Rico handed Jake the papers and watched as Jake looked through the stack.
“Keep working on finding out everything that can be found out about the group responsible,” Jake stated as he took the papers towards his office, “I’ll be in my office.”
“Okay Jake,” Trev replied.
Trev and Jacob went to work as Daniel went to his room and Rico went outside. Jake closed the door to his office and sat down at his desk to thoroughly look over the papers that he got from Rico. The papers stated that the group, known as Earth-United, was a group that was fighting for all kinds of creatures that live on Earth. Their rival group was a group known as Majestic and that group was hell bent on destroying anything and everything that wasn’t human. Jake sighed as he set down the stack of papers on his desk. Jake leaned back in his chair and stared up at the ceiling.
“There is more to this than is known,” Jake said to himself, “Majestic wouldn’t have known about me or my friends/family without someone telling them. I know of at least 3 that are prime suspects, but there may be a fourth.”
Jake lowered his gaze to look out of his office’s window. Meanwhile, Rico went to his room to start working on transferring data to Earth-United’s database. Jacob, Trev, and Daniel did their best to keep on finding everything out about the new enemy. Little did Jake know that Terra, Tai, and Carrie weren’t the only ones who had contact with Majestic that knew of him and his friends and family. Kara Swift-tail, who was once a member of J-Unit, was now in league with Majestic after being captured and tortured. Kara only joined Majestic because she was pissed about being left behind. There was one other who joined the ranks of Majestic that knows and is known by Jake. Meanwhile, Earth-United had their eyes on Jake as well.
“Status report,” High-Commander Samantha Warrenton (formerly Blackworth) asked as she entered the Command Room of Earth-United’s North American Headquarters.
“Only a few remaining that are either friends or family to Jake T. Wolfe, High-Commander,” Lt. Commander Rob Pennington reported, “Files have been transferred of J-Unit operations to our database by Ricochet Wolfe.”
“What else?” Samantha questioned.
“Majestic has really hit Jake hard,” Rob replied, “Emotionally only by reducing all that he knows and loves to a very small number.”
“Any leads on the one or ones responsible for Majestic targeting Jake?” Samantha queried.
“No leads yet,” Rob responded, “The research team has been looking through every detail of the attacks though.”
“Have them keep going and report any findings to me at once,” Samantha ordered.
“Yes ma’am,” Rob responded.
Meanwhile, another group was also planning. That group was Majestic. Android Wolf, Tai, Terra, Kara, Carrie, Zena, and Markus entered The War Room to plan the next assault against Jake.
“Any thoughts on the next target to attack and cause further distraught to Jake?” Prime General Markus Striker asked.
“I suggest that we wait until Jake leaves his home/Base and then destroy it,” Android Wolf commented, “Hopefully, we can take out the rest of his family at the same time.”
“That will be hard to accomplish,” Carrie pointed out, “Recent reports state that they all remain on the grounds now.”
“There is always a way to flush Jake out,” Android Wolf retorted with a sinister chuckle.
“Such as?” Markus questioned.
“You’re kidding, right?” Android Wolf snarled, causing Markus to shake his head, “How in the hell did you manage to become a Prime General if you can’t even think of a single way to draw out your enemy?!”
“Watch your tone,” Markus snapped, “I out rank you.”
“And my power is far greater than yours,” Android Wolf countered, “Even with your battle suit. Simply put, you are nothing compared to me and make a televised statement that will draw Jake out by himself and while he is following through on that, we attack.”
“That could work out very well,” Tai stated.
“Element of surprise and misleading,” Zena said.
“Are you sure it will work, Android Wolf?” Markus asked, “Oh and since Majestic gave you your android enhancements, we can disable them as well with the press of a button.”
“Too bad that I’ve already disabled that function,” Android Wolf commented with a devious smirk, “Not to mention the fact that I’ve redesigned the enhancements with better ones of my own. Also, of course it will work. I’ve dealt with Jake many times before and I have a good sense in how he operates.”
“What kind of statement should be issued?” Terra asked.
“Give me some time to think of one and I’ll get back to you on that,” Android Wolf responded.
“In the meantime,” Kara stated, “Let us continue to go after all of the other targets on our list.”
“Very well then,” Markus growled, “Dismissed.”
Kara, Terra, Tai, Carrie, Zena, and Android Wolf left to go about their own business.
“Stupid pawn,” Markus muttered to himself in reference to Android Wolf.
