December 20 design for my 2014 Adoptable Advent Calendar!



December 20th
Theme: "Frost Bite"
Species: Tundrayena
   Owner: landlotl
Character Idea: As the guardian of the tundra, this proud beast dutifully watches over and protects the creatures within its wide territory.
Perfectly built for rugged, snowy living, its wide paws and even wider jaws allow it to both remove intruders as well as dig a shelter for an animal in need.
Despite its ferocious demeanor, it shows an honest devotion to its charges that one might call something close to familial love.
Its long, shimmering mane seems to reflect the Northern lights back up onto the sky, even in times of winter's total darkness.
