2014 Summary of Art

Happy New Year!

Man, to think it's now 2015... Time goes by so fast! I still remember dating things as 2005 back in 5th grade. :'D
Anyway, I can't think of much to say so on to the art! (*ﾉ`v´*)ﾉ

January - I was surprised to see I made this way back in January! Just doesn't feel like it for some reason... >_>;;
February - One of my favorites of the year!
March - Something I did for Basic Design class. We were assigned to do it on a favorite song of ours, or something. I chose the song Black Board because it was my favorite at the time. But only when it's sung by either Ren or Nano! I've come to like painting with ink...
April - There's another sketch I did that's "better" than this one, but I just really like this one! >v<;; I was trying to decide if I should redesign the Fruit Sprites or not. I must admit, the lanky version has it's charm... Either way, I need to widen their necks a bit.
May - One of the first sketches of my new sketch book that's actually a sketch book! X'D Again, I did a portrait that's waaaaay "better" than this, but I just always liked how Swabawy looked here. @ v @;;;
June - It's so good, I can't. ; _ ;
July - I like this sketch.
August - Every time I look at this, I'm reminded just how much I need to practice legs. D: Everything above is just great, though!
September - I really need to do more pastel illustrations! Especially since I got more pastels to work with for Christmas!
October - A doodle I did at school. I was really happy with my progress with open mouths. *_*
November - I started this in November but couldn't find the energy to touch it for weeks because of Finals... It was done, just couldn't figure out how to do the smoke. >.<
December - Rachel is my favorite in this pic, but Tess is the most well drawn and painted overall. Rachel's initial sketch just has one too many mistakes for me to put her here. OTL

I feel a need to complain about how I should've done more this year like I usually do, but honestly, I did a lot! I have a whole portfolio of art assignments I did for Basic Design, the biggest project competed with Black Board for March. In fact, even though I'm a little disappointed there's still a few sketches and doodles here, it's simply just that all my great works were bundled together for the same months. I could cheat and fill them in the less productive months like I often see others do, but I'd rather not. I had some nice things I made for ceramics (one's a framed picture of the Fruit Sprites that now hangs in my room!), but I don't think I should bring RL crafts into my mainly 2D summary... Wait. No, I did that for 2011. Never mind, I'll shut up now. ._.
Looking back on it all, my only regret is not uploading more of it... I think I'll make that my resolution, upload more stuff.
