Prologue: YTWC's Black

Sheez...after I've planned this for over three years, it just feels so unreal to actually draw this.

That's right. I began planning this comic back in 2011, around the time I finished playing my first nuzlocke (the SoulSilver one). At first I wasn't sure about the game, it was either Black of supposedly coming Pokémon Grey - but when Pokémon Black2 & White2 were revealed in early 2012, I finally settled with Pokémon Black.
This comic is based on a Pokémon Black playthrough I did in autumn/winter 2013. Yes, the game has been finished for a year by now, so if I see anyone talking like I'm still playing it, I'll totally ignore them.

Nothing special happens in this prologue, aside from introducing YTWC with new design and sending him to Unova. Speaking of YTWC's new design...it was around a year ago when I did some doodles and tried to decide how he would look in this nuzlocke. Because he's 19 in this (not said straight, but he was 16 in previous nuzlocke and here it's confirmed that was three years ago) I had to make him look older. At first all my attempts failed - he looked pretty much same than before, just with a longer hair. Then I remembered an omake from Fullmetal Alchemist where Roy Mustang is trying to look older by getting moustache. The idea amused me, and I tried to draw YTWC with moustache. Hilarity was ensued. After laughing for a while I stopped after having this type of realization: "oh god...that actually fits him."

Anyway...I hope you don't have too high expectations for this comic.
