Shigeru is a quiet and poised young lady with a reserved disposition which makes it difficult for others to even engage in small talk with her. She dislikes confrontation and prefers to avoid them even if it means ignoring her priorities. With a gentle smile and her face always buried in a book, others often overlook her. In School her grades are hardly above average since she finds it too troublesome to study too hard when she leads such a pampered life. If you get the chance to talk to her you'll find that she honestly doesn't have much to say about herself, but a lot about other things. She enjoys talking about politics and difficult social problems; things that aren't very appropriate for casual conversations which makes many uncomfortable. Once in a while someone can catch her gazing away from her book into the distance with an almost sad look on her face as if a small piece of her were missing.

Bio:
From the beginning Shigeru always felt like she was running a tight rope act of a circus show. Coming from a long line of doctors and surgeons made it feel like she was constantly walking on pins and needles. Although her parents rarely chided her for her shortcomings and lack of natural intellect, she felt the pressure constantly upon her shoulders as she grew older. Little did she know that her parents had no intention of forcing their first child to follow in their footsteps and all the stress she had was self imposed. Despite all of this, she has always been a very obedient child and did her best to study hard to make her parents happy. Around the time she reached her second year of high school, her parents asked her that she needed to start thinking about what she was going to do with the rest of her life and that making them happy wasn't what they wanted. And so with only her final year of high school left, they decided to send her to one of the best schools they could find so she could begin to make decisions for herself.
