Mega Raichu Flat Colors (Fan Made)

Okay, first thing you're probably thinking on your mind. Why not a Mega Pikachu? For the record, two reasons; it already has too many things exclusive to it to the point that Raichu, it's proper final form, is almost never acknowledged because of it, and is simply treated with sour taste for the absolute worst of reasons possible. I understand if you like Pikachu, but man oh man, I would much rather see something completely exclusive to Raichu for once rather than something for Pikachu or Pichu only. In HG/SS, we had the Spiky-Eared Pichu, which effectively made us lose the ability to catch Celebi, oh, and the best part? CAN'T BE TRANSFERRED TO GEN V. In OR/AS, some exact problem with Cosplay Pikachu; you can't put it into Poke Bank, and thus if Poke Bank is also used for the future Gen VII games, this effectively means Cosplay Pikachu cannot be transferred to future generations as well. Now you're saying that probably can't happen; yet they allow Origin Pulse, Precipice Blades, and Dragon Ascent on Poke Bank perfectly fine despite also being content not available in X/Y.

The second REAL reason as to why NOTHING that isn't already either of two things; fully evolved, or Legendary/Mythical Pokemon, cannot acquire Mega Evolutions. Pokemon Zeta and Omnicron made a HUGE mistake lore-wise by adding a Mega Eevee, since the Mega Evolution guru in X/Y flat out stats this:

"Indeed! Mega Evolution is a transformation of Pokémon that were thought to be unable to evolve any further! It's a whole new level of power!"
"There's a reason why I used the word "transformation" a moment ago. Mega Evolution differs from Evolution because it ends after a certain amount of time. In other words, it's a temporary Evolution."

So basically the guru states that Pokemon that are either fully evolved (Gyarados, Scizor, Medicham), have no known evolutionary relatives (Kangaskhan, Heracross, Absol), or are in fact Legendary/Mythical Pokemon Pokemon (Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Diancie) are the only Pokemon physically capable of acquiring a Mega Evolution. If it has a known evolution (Eevee) then it is physically impossible for them to have a Mega Evolution. Again, the evolution is temporary, but the thing is, nothing in the game lore, be it X/Y or OR/AS, makes no hints that anything other than the Pokemon categories I listed are capable of Mega Evolution (In fact all the new Megas are for Pokemon solely from those groups I mentioned are actually capable of achieving it).

Primal Reversion is completely out of the question due to how it works and the fact only TWO Pokemon even get it compared to the dozens of Megas we get in OR/AS in addition to Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre, the ONLY two Primal Reversion forms added at all.

So yeah, Mega Evolution is only for final form or no evolution line Pokemon. The Pikachu clones from Gens III-onward CAN get Megas... Pikachu, on the other hand, can NOT get a Mega. For that to happen, RAICHU will be the one to receive the Mega instead.

NOW THEN WITH THAT RANT OUT OF THE WAY HOW'S ABOUT SOME DESIGN NOTES?

-Taking some cues from Plusle and Minum, who are red and blue in color respectively, both also representing a positive and negative electrical charge, this is where the color scheme changes to M-Raichu came from, in addition to why it's capable of learning Fusion Bolt and Fusion Flare.

-It's Fire type because what's the one thing a bolt of electricity is easily capable of causing if it comes into contact with something like paper? IGNITES THE OBJECT INTO FLAMES.

-Lightspeed is the name of the Electric type Gale Wings variant for one reason; Lightning is SEEN faster than from actually HEARING it when a lightning hits the ground. So basically M-Raichu is moving faster than can even be heard moving. I WAS tempted to give it Extreme Speed, but a Gen V Event gives Raichu access to Extreme Speed already if you're that interested in it.

-In relation to the above I should at least point out the Pichu's moves from which it holds the Mega Stone for Raichu to use:

*Volt Tackle
*Fusion Flare
*Fusion Bolt
*Extreme Speed

-I was VERY tempted to give M-Raichu an ability that would allow it to nuke Ground Types using Electric Type moves, but I settled for a Gale Wings variant based on Electric Type moves as to counteract several notable priority users in the OU metagame, although as a whole, it's only meant to counter Talonflame.

-Lightspeed, after first acquiring it through Mega Evolution, does not apply to the first turn much like M-Swampert's Swift Swim; turn order is determined BEFORE Mega Evolution, and as a result, both abilities do not immediately alter how fast the Mega Evolved Pokemon moves in the first turn it's Mega Evolved, only for turns in which it's already Mega Evolved instead.
