How Do Ramukens Evolve?

The evolution of one type of ramuken to another is simply a change in their soda and/or flavor content. Certain types have a specific number of flavors associated with them. By Adding flavors, adding or subtracting soda amount, or by changing character, they are capable of changing. Ramuken must go to the Glass Factory to have their flavors changed, as the process is very delicate and requires Ramuken experts.

Once a flavor is added, they cannot revert to their previous state. For example, if you add a flavor to an Original and it becomes a Dyad, it cannot 'subtract' the added flavor to go back to an Original. Ramuken are not capable of adding several flavors at once; changing even one composition of their soda flavor causes great stress to them. The Glass Factory recommends only 1 flavor addition every month.
Furthermore, the change caused by character trait does not reverse any prior affects of already added soda. For example, if you decide that your Void Ramuken is not so much the big bad wolf and rather a good guy, their design will not instantaneously take on the characteristics of the positive-spectrum of Ramuken. Like adding flavors, their overall look can only change slowly every three months. Generally, their characters will retain the dull/dark colors and slowly take on the physical traits of their new type. It takes a long time for one end of the morality spectrum to morph into the other end; the same rule of flavor addition/subtraction applies.  

I own a Ramuken and I want to evolve its type. Can I do that?

As mentioned above, you can only add 1 flavor every month. That means your Ramuken can't jump from being a Dyad to a Rancid. The months are counted from the day the Ramuken comes into your possession, and you have at least 1 drawing of the Ramuken.  Once you have confirmed that you are eligible to change your flavor, check with either faios or Nishipu! We can go over available options and flavors with you. We will move your Ramuken to the Workshop and begin work...

Glass Factory & Accidents

The Glass Factory (i.e. this group) is the birthplace of all Ramuken. Here they are melted, forged, shaped, and bottled. The factory is also the place to get adjustments to your Ramuken, or to simply meet others of their kind!

Every time a Ramuken undergoes a flavor change, there is a small chance of an accident happening. Accidents include anything from additional flavors to shattering and very rarely some never-before-seen traits. It is the owner's responsibility to understand the risk of sending their Ramuken to the factory for maintenance. Glass Factory does not take responsibility for any unwanted accidents.

I want to add a special trait to my Ramuken. Is that possible?

Special traits are event and innate exclusive.  That means you can only obtain them through adoptions or occasional events. As mentioned above, some will have sudden changes from Glass Factory accidents. Most of the time, we discourage adding traits to already existing Ramuken. Some are mutually exclusive and cannot be combined.
