Description
I've seen some Copic marker drawings here on dA with watercolour paper, so I couldn't resist to try it out. And I have to say that this was the best "test" so far! The colours blend so well (much better than on marker paper and it doesn't bleed through that much => 300g/m²) and you can do almost everything (apply more layers)! It's amazing! I love it!
Usually I don't draw only a reference picture, when I do a Zelda drawing, but this time it's one of my "tests", so this is an exception.
Reference was a picture of Link from the video game "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" (N64, 1998).
Canson art students watercolour pad 18x25cm 300g/m²; Copic Ciao marker, Copic Multiliner black 0.05, Faber-Castell grip 1345 HB 0.5 (for the sketch... or in this case 2 sketches); time: ~6h
Please don't upload my pictures somewhere else without my permission. Don't infringe copyright!
Here is my very, very old Oni-Link drawing + some other traditional fan art:
