OMAKE! XD - Subject 01: Battle of the Century!!

Scene shows a flower field, up on a hill. It is a clear and beautiful day. Off to the side, you can see the Angels in cheerleader outfits with pom-poms practicing something. Azaka is wearing a cheerleader outfit as well.

“Alright! From the top!! Give me an O!” Azaka commands.

Akari jumps in the air and shouts. “O!”

“Give me an M!”

Kaori does a spin and shouts. “M!”

“Give me an A”

Hinako does a split and shouts. “A!”

“Give me a K!”

Kimiko punches her pom-poms forward and shouts. “K!”

“Give me an E!”

Mizuki stands there watching as a bird flies by in the air.

“Psst… Mizuki-chan… Your turn!!” Kimiko whispers.

“Huh? Oh… um…” Mizuki replies. She pushes her right arm into the air and shouts. “E.”

“Now, what does that spell?!” Azaka shouts.

All five of them scream in unison “OMAKE!!”

                        

The Edge Chronicles OMAKE! XD – Subject 01: Battle of the Century!!

It is training day at the ChouKi Company for the Angels of Athena. All of them are currently working out their amazon bodies or sparring with each other. Currently, Akari Himemiya, the most energetic member of the group, is sparring with her senpai, leader Kimiko Tachibana. Akari is in her blue outfit with her hairband, light blue t-shirt and denim shorts that she wears in the underground fighting tournaments while Kimiko is in her gi. The two are currently engaged in a fierce fight.

Akari jumps in the air and kicks at Kimiko’s chest. Kimiko grabs Akari’s leg and starts spinning her around and let’s go tossing her. Akari rights herself up and springs off of the wall and punches out in front of her, using her momentum to catch Kimiko off guard. Kimiko gets nailed in the ribs which causes her to gasp for air. Akari spins in front of her and kicks into Kimiko’s abdomen. Kimiko doubles over. Akari goes for the winning uppercut, but Kimiko pulls her head away in time and lands butt first on the floor.

“Whoa!! You almost had me there Akari-chan!!” Kimiko says in-between breaths.

“I know senpai! But you dodged at just the last second!!” Akari replies breathing a little heavy as well.

“No wonder you are one of the strongest fighters in that tournament deal. You are relentless and resourceful!!”

“Hahaha. Thanks! I owe a lot of it to studying Chieko-sama’s fighting style and then adding in my own!! Which is why I am so close to surpassing her!”

“HA! Don’t you remember little girl what I said about wanting to surpass me!?!” A voice calls out from the doorway into the dojo.

Everyone turns to see Chieko standing in the door way with her arms folded in front of her.

“!! Chieko-sama!” Akari shouts aloud.

“What is it that you need Chieko-nee?” Kimiko asks.

Chieko walks in.

“Oh, I don’t need anything! I just heard the spar that was going on in here and wanted to check it out!! And then, this little girl starts claiming she’s going to surpass ME again!”

Chieko walks over to Akari and looks down at her.

“Did you forget what I said? Little girl.” Chieko says menacingly.

“That I had to fight you first Chieko-sama!!” Akari replies enthusiastically. “And I am ready anytime!!”

Chieko grins as she tears off her lab jacket showing her old fighting uniform underneath with red halter top with gold embroidered kanji, red shorts, and her red arm bands with athletic tape around her calves.

“Me too!!!” Chieko says as she starts cracking her knuckles.

Kimiko steps in-between the two prize fighters.

“Wait a minute you two!! I know how the both of you fight and I don’t think we want to be destroying our training area!!”

“Senpai does have a point.”

“Tch. Who cares!! It will get rebuilt anyways!!”

Hinako steps in as well.

“Why don’t you two do it down in that arena underneath here?”

“ARENA!?” All three shout in surprise.

“Yeah! I found it the other day on accident!” Hinako replies.

Kaori and Mizuki walk over.

“And then we all can watch and cheer you on! No worries, the Takanashi group will repair all damage free of charge.” Kaori states.

Chieko and Akari both look at each other.

“Sounds good to me Kaori-chan!” Akari says.

“Works for me!! As long as I get my fight, I’m satisfied!!” Chieko responds.

“Okay! Then how about you two come to the arena around 5PM. That will give us enough time to set everything up for the match!” Hinako explains.

“Alright! Chieko-sama! We will finally have our match at 5PM today! I can’t wait!” Akari chirps.

“Oh, I can’t wait either.” Chieko says with a devious grin. She puts her lab jacket back on. ”So, until then… let’s run some tests!!!”

Everyone groans.

Time passes. Hinako, Kaori and Kimiko retreat to the arena to get everything set up for the match. When 5PM rolls around, both Akari and Chieko are escorted by Kimiko down to the arena. When they enter the room, the room has been set up like an underground arena that they are used to fighting in. Off to the side are a few benches where everybody has come to watch the fight. Hinako is dressed in a referee’s uniform in the center of the ring. Everyone starts cheering as the two fighters walk in.

“And now!! Ladies and Gentlemen!! Tonight we have a special exhibition match here at the Athena Ring!! The winner gets the famous Amazon Statue of Pride!!” Hinako proclaims as she holds up a crudely cobbled together gold statue that has paint peeling off of it with a highly muscled female figure in the pose like an Oscar.

Akari walks off to the left of the ring while Chieko walks to the right.

“To the left! Standing at 193 cm, she is the rising star in the underground world! Small but mighty! With a serious electric personality to boot!! The one, the only! AKARI HIMEMIYA!!!”

Akari punches her fist excitedly into the air and runs to the center of the ring. Everybody cheers.

“Hey!! I’m not small anymore!”

“Compared to everyone else except Kaori… yeah you are!” Hinako states.

Akari puffs out her cheeks in annoyance.

“And to the right!! Standing at a whopping 210 cm, she is the scientific brains behind everything!! But don’t think she’s a soft, squishy nerd!! She’s one wild animal once she enters the ring!! The reigning and current champion! CHIEKO, THE WILDCAT, NEKOTANIIIIIIIII!!!!”

Chieko strolls up to the center grinning. A few claps and cheers can be heard.

“?? Wait a damn minute?! Where are all my cheers at?!” Chieko shouts as she turns to the audience.

“Well Chieko-san, you see…” Kaori says. “You always cheer for the underdog in a match!”

“Yes Miss Chieko, Miss Takanashi is correct, that is why I am cheering on Miss Himemiya.”

“Thank you so much everyone!!” Akari shouts.

Chieko scowls and sees Azaka.

“Et tu Azaka?”

“I couldn’t care less who wins, I just want to see you get your ass kicked.” Azaka says.

Chieko’s face drops.

“Go Chieko!” Kenji cries out.

Chieko’s face brightens up.

“Thank you Ken-chan!!!”

“And I’m rooting for both of ya!! There is no way I can choose between my cute kohai and Chieko-nee!” Kimiko shouts.

“Fighters! On your marks!!” Hinako shouts.

Akari and Chieko stand on their respective marks in the center of the ring. Akari puts her right foot forward and flexes her right arm. She glares up at Chieko. Chieko stands tall with an evil grin cracking her knuckles, looking down at Akari.

“Chieko-sama! I am not holding anything back!!”

“Good!! Because I sure as hell ain’t holding anything back either!! Don’t blame me if you get the shit beaten out of you and you can’t fight anymore!!”

“Oh, you have no idea how LONG I have been waiting for this DAY!!”

“Annnnnd…. BEGIN!!” Hinako shouts and jumps quickly out of the way.

A large boom is heard and a dust cloud obscures the arena as both fighters rushed in and punched each other at the same time. When the dust clears, the two are exchanging blows back left and right. The force of Chieko’s blows resonate through the room as she pounds on Akari. Akari deftly dodges a few and punches Chieko rapidly in the abdomen. Chieko does not show any signs of pain and is just grinning.

“Oh, that tickles!! Here, let me show you what REAL strength is little girl!!!” Chieko gloats.

Suddenly she is smacked in the face with her own breasts.

“HA!! That’s the biggest problem when you have huge tits and a short fighter! They are like punching bags!!”

“GRRR!!!!!!!”

Chieko stomps her foot and a crack appears in the floor. Akari is about to be caught off balance but quickly catches herself.

“Nice try Chieko-sama!!!”

Suddenly, Chieko grabs Akari’s leg.

“HAHA!!! You fell right for it little girl!”

Chieko picks Akari up and flings her like a dirty rag at the wall. Akari hits the wall but uses it as a springboard.

“YAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!”

Chieko watches as Akari pushes herself off the wall, leaving a crater in it. She just grins as she catches Akari.

“GOTCHA!!! GUuuhhh!!!”

Akari uses her legs and bends over Chieko and kicks her in the back, hard.

“No, GOT YOU!!!”

Akari flips over Chieko. But Chieko quickly grabs her and punches Akari out of the air into the ground.

“HAHAHHAHAHHAHA!!!!!” Chieko cackles wildly as she leaps into the air and leg drops Akari.

Akari quickly moves out of the way and watches as Chieko breaks the concrete floor. Akari swings at Chieko as she is planted in the ground and hits her in the side. Chieko prys herself out of the ground and charges at Akari. Akari gets ready to jump but is hit by Chieko’s body check. Akari flies out of the arena and through the adjacent wall.

“Science isn’t your forte is it little girl?! Law of conservation of momentum!! And I am MUCH MORE MASSIVE THAN YOU!!! C’MON!! GET BACK UP!!”

Akari pulls herself out of the rubble and glares back at Chieko.

“You want momentum? I’LL SHOW YOU MOMENTUM!!!”

Akari takes off towards Chieko at full tilt. Chieko readies to bash Akari back into the ground when all of the sudden she’s right under her! Akari gives Chieko a mighty uppercut by pushing off from her powerful legs. Chieko gets hit and her head flies back. Akari swings her right fist to hit Chieko in the side of the head. Chieko quickly dodges it and grabs Akari’s arm.

“Nice try little girl, I INVENTED THAT MOVE!! YOU ARE 100 YEARS TOO EARLY TO BE USING IT!!”

Chieko punches Akari in the gut hard. Akari gasps and then kicks Chieko in the head. Chieko drops Akari.

“Good try there Chieko-sama!!BUT I’M NOT OUT YET!!!” Akari shouts taking her stance again, her clothes a little torn.

“HEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!! I would so hope you wouldn’t be yet!! BECAUSE I AM IN NO WAY FINISHED WITH YOU!!” Chieko screams with a crazed look on her face.

The audience keeps cheering. Most of them are wincing watching the two amazons fight unrestrained. Off to the side, the fight rages on. Dust clouds can be seen and thundering booms and crashes can be heard.

“Oooh!! Ah!! Ehh!!!” Akemi cringes.

Mizuki is hiding her face and wincing in pain with each hit.

Kimiko and Kenji are both watching with sweatdrops and cringing once in a while.

“So, is this what one of Chieko-nee’s fights looks like Ken-kun?” Kimiko asks while cringing as Akari flies over her head.

“Yeah, pretty much so Kimi-chan. Though Akari-chan is really holding her own. Most would have already been unconscious by now.” Kenji replies as Akari runs back in and knees Chieko in the back.

“That’s my Akari-chan for ya…”

Kaori sits there with a notepad taking notes on the fight.

“What are you doing?” Hinako asks.

“Taking notes! Some of these moves may actually be useful if you think about Hinako.”

“Oh! Yeah! You got a point there!”

Chieko jumps in the air grappling Akari getting her in position for a mighty powerbomb.

“NIGHTY NIGHT LITTLE GIRL!!!!”

I…. AM… NOT… A… LITTLE. GIRL!!!!”

Akari kicks Chieko in the face and pushes off her. She readies to punch Chieko and the two crash back down to the ground. They resume exchanging blows.

Over an hour passes. The audience is shown bored as can be. Both fighters are breathing heavily and have taken massive amounts of damage from each other with bruises and cuts in all various places of their bodies. Akari’s hair is wildly disheveled. Her shirt has been torn to shreds and her hairband is torn in half. Her shorts are torn in various places. Chieko’s hair is wilder than before. Her top is torn exposing the middle section of her breasts, her left strap has been broken, her armbands have been torn to pieces, and her shorts have runs on top of runs in them. The two fighters stagger slowly towards each other. They stop in the middle of the ring, draw back their right arms and punch each other simultaneously in the face. Both fall backwards in unison and shake the ground with a mighty thud as they both hit the floor at the same time. Hinako stands up and walks in between the two amazons sprawled out on the ground.

“DRAW!!!” Hinako declares as she brings her arms in and pushes them out towards Akari and Chieko.

Akemi and Kenji run over to Chieko while Kimiko and Mizuki run to Akari.

“Akari-chan!! Wake up!!” Kimiko shouts as Mizuki is pouring water on Akari’s face.

“Sis!! C’mon!!! Wake up!! The fight is over!” Kenji shouts while slapping Chieko’s face.

“Mister Kenji, please, allow me.” Akemi says as she transforms and places her hands on Chieko’s face.

“*SPUTTER! SPUTTER! COUGH! COUGH! COUGH!!* Senpai… who won?!?” Akari says.

“KYYYAAAAA!!!! THAT’S TOO DAMN COLD AKEMI-CHAN!!!!” Chieko screams. “Did I win?!?!”

“No one won, it was a draw!” Azaka shouts in disgust.

“A DRAW!?!?!” Akari and Chieko scream in unison as they rise up quickly hearing the news.

They both stare at each other for a second and smile.

“So I guess that means we’ve gotta have another fight again someday Chieko-sama!!” Akari says as she rises to her feet.

“Hahahahahaha! Yes, we do!!!” Chieko laughs joyously as she stands up.

“Since it was a draw… no one gets the trophy then I guess. Good, because that means we can go and make an actual…” Hinako says.

Chieko walks up and takes the trophy from Hinako.

“HEY!!” Hinako shouts.

“That’s not fair Chieko-san!! You did not win!! You can’t take the trophy!” Kaori exclaims.

“You’re right… I didn’t win.”

Chieko walks over to Akari and hands it to her.

“Akari-chan won!”

Akari looks at Chieko confused.

“But… it was a draw… so no one won?” Akari says aloud.

“No! You won Akari-chan!! You remember my record!!”

“Yeah!! 50-0-0!! No loses and no…” Akari’s voice trails off, her eyes grow wide in realization.

“And no draws!!! You have given me my first draw!! You have finally shown me that there is a fighter just as strong as me out there!!! SO! CONGRATULATIONS AKARI HIMEMIYA!!! THE LIGHTNING PRINCESS!!! YOU HAVE PROVEN YOURSELF!!”

Chieko thrusts the trophy into Akari’s hand.

“I… I… I’m… I’m just as strong as The Wildcat?!?!?!” Akari’s face brightens up and starts smiling.

“And you said you were going to beat my record, correct?!”

“Yeah!!!”

“You better shatter it into pieces!!! Make them forget who “The Wildcat” was!!! Make them remember “The Lightning Princess”!! And when you do, you better come back and face me!!!!”

“Why do you keep calling me “The Lightning Princess”? I don’t have a stage name like you do.” Akari asks.

“It’s about damn time you get one if you’re planning on rewriting the records!!!” Chieko shouts with a huge grin on her face.

Akari’s eyes brighten up again as she grips the trophy in her hand.

“THANK YOU SO MUCH CHIEKO-SAMA!!! I WON’T LET YOU DOWN!!!” Akari screams as she runs over and hugs Chieko.

“Hahaha! Quit that now!! Little girl!!” Chieko laughs putting her arm around Akari.

Everyone is in tears at the emotional scene.

“Wow. I feel like I’m watching the end scene of a sports anime!” Kaori says.

Inner Akemi appears.

“*bawling with a tissue* It’s… so… beautiful… the touching moment where the senpai passes the torch to the kouhai! I must remember this for my new doujin!!”

“Chieko-nee, I never knew you were so sentimental like that!” Kimiko says in shock with tears in her eyes.

“Hey now!!! I’ve said I’m a really sweet girl! I just love fighting way too much!!” Chieko retorts.

“So, when are we going to fix this place up?” Azaka asks.

The arena looks like a war-torn battlefield. There are various holes and craters in the wall and floor. Benches have been broken, lights dangling from the ceiling flickering, doors are barely hanging on by their hinges. One door falls off and crashes to the ground.

Kaori presses a button on her cell phone. The main door opens and Ryou walks in.

“Yes, Milady?”

Everyone just stares at the blue-haired butler.

“Please begin restoration at once Ryou!” Kaori commands.

“Right away, Milady.” Ryou responds and disappears in a flash.

Everyone watches as within minutes, the room is repaired looking brand new. Ryou appears again in front of Kaori, bowing and holding a needle and thread.

“Everything has been restored as requested, Milady.”

Akari and Chieko looks down and notices that their clothes look as good as new and are bandaged up. Everyone except Kaori stares wide-eyed at Ryou.

“I also took the liberty to replace the trophy with a more appropriate one.” Ryou says.

Akari looks down and sees the trophy is bright and shiny as if made of pure gold.

“Good! That is all for now Ryou, please be ready in an hour to take me home.” Kaori states.

“Yes, Milady.” Ryou replies and then turn to everyone else. “Have a good day ladies.” Ryou then walks out the door he came in.

“Ummm… did that just happen?” Azaka asks.

“Kaori-chan…” Mizuki says looking puzzled.

“Never underestimate the abilities of a Takanashi family butler!” Kaori says aloud.
