1. When did you start writing?
Writing short little stories has been something I've always been good at and enjoyed ever since elementary school, but sometime in 2005 is when I really started doing it a lot and putting it on the internet.

2. When you were a beginning writer, what did your write primarily? What do you write now, primarily?  (i.e. romance, fan-fiction, poetry)
The very earliest things I can remember writing were before I was even 10 years old, they were little stories about something that had actually happened to me - for example, I wrote a story about how I lost my first tooth, emphasizing on how freaked out I was. Over 10 was fanfiction. My first was a Legend of Dragoon fanfic for a 5th Grade writing project, followed by a Dragon Ball Z fanfic. The first fanfiction I put online was Fullmetal Alchemist.

Now, I write original short stories, I'm working on building a High Fantasy world (already have a 15 page word file that make up my notes and I'm not even close to being done), sometimes I delve into other genres as well, but fantasy (or fanfiction for a fandom I know well) is what I'm most comfortable with.

3. How often do you write?
That's actually a hard question. The short answer? Not as often as I'd like to. The longer one? I'm a huuuuge procrastinator. HUGE! It doesn't help that when I actually do sit down and say "I'm gonna write", usually I end up sitting there staring at a blank word file for a while before giving up. Sometimes I manage to write a few words before writer's block/procrastination sets in. Occasionally I do manage to get something out, but not as often as I'd like to.

4. When is your favorite time of the day to write?
Ideally, a day that I don't work. During the day, when the sun is still up. On days that I DO work, I'm usually pressed for time. I get up, I have to time to get ready, check a few things, go to work, come back 9.5~ hours later, make dinner, relax and go to bed. I'm pretty sure I sleep too much. If I manage to write on a day that I work, it would be during that "relaxing" period afterwards.

5. Do you have a writing muse? If so, who/what?
Not... really? Obviously if I write about a cat it's most likely inspired by my cat, Buddy. But not-cat literature? I don't really have a muse.

6. What is your most popular lit piece?
According to my stats on dA, a yaoi Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles fanfiction named "KuroFai - Contest Entry", which I wrote back in 2008. I really wish one of my original lit pieces were the most popular, but that's just how it is, I guess.

7. What is the piece you are currently writing?
I'm currently working on a horror/suspense short story that I was inspired to write after watching three episodes of Ghost Adventures in a row with my fiance and his parents.

8. What is the piece you most recently finished?
The piece I most recently finished would be "Enough - 100 Prompts" a short story taking place in my fantasy universe that loosely follows the prompt of "enough" and the vague main plot I have bouncing in my head.

9. What piece are you most proud of?
My huge amount of fantasy notes. But I think you mean things I have online, which would have to be...... I'm not really sure. I'm not fond of the things I wrote years ago, Buddy was an experiment to break out of writer's block, Fish was a cute little warm up and Enough I was highly on the fence about putting online, because I kept feeling like it wasn't ready. I... think I'll have to go with Enough, if I'm just choosing from what I have on dA.

10. What piece are you most disappointed in?
MOST? I'd like to point at my fanfiction, but I also know if I had never written it, I'd be writing terrible original fiction right now, instead of slightly better original fiction. There was a series I did, the first Fullmetal Alchemist fanfiction I wrote, I got 5 chapters in, it had a Mary Sue OC as Edward's girlfriend and it was just...... SO. BAD. I tried to rewrite it about 3 years later, but ended up abandoning it after chapter 1. The original is dead and gone (or maybe still on ff.net, not sure) but I just checked and the rewrite is here on dA. Oh, FMA. What terrible, terrible things I wrote in your universe.

11. From all of your stories, who is/are your favorite character(s) and why? (try to limit it to 3)
As of right now, I'm gonna go with Buddy. As a person who REALLY loves cats, I really enjoyed trying to get into a cat's perspective and writing from it.

12. What is the best compliment you ever got on your writing?
I think back in 2007 or 2008 on a different site, somebody commented on one of my terrible fanfics and said something along the lines of, "You're a master of dialogue! I'm DYING to read more!"

13. What is your main goal with writing?
Have fun, get better, hopefully one day write an epic fantasy novel and get published.

14. Have you ever been published?
Nope, but hopefully some day.

15. If tomorrow you learned that you would never be able to formally publish a story, would you still write?
Of course! "Formally published" almost seems like an impossible dream right now, so for it to be confirmed, it wouldn't really change anything.

16. If you could get a Daily Deviation on one of your lit pieces, which would it be?
I'd say Enough or anything else from that universe if I had more of it out, but as it stands, I'll have to go with Buddy.

Now tag 5-10 people to do this meme. But be nice about it.
ANYONE who wants to do it! :D
Found this meme, looked like fun so I did it! I mentioned a few of my works that are here on dA, so here's the links to them - KuroFai - Contest Entry, FMA - Death Ch. 1, Buddy, member of the Superior Race (a.k.a. Cats), Fish - 100 Prompts and Enough - 100 Prompts. The first two links are fanfiction, the second being the terrible fanfic I talked about in 10. The last three are my recently written original short stories. The last two are part of my fantasy universe.
I'm tagging literally anyone and everyone! If you want to do it, go for it! Here's the blank by :iconmirz-alt:
