Cowtown's Surrounded

A scene from my War of Moo Mesa fanfic. As a final resort, the terrorists place a division of heavily-armed troopers around CowTown to form a cordon. This was believed to be the only way of keeping Moo, Dakota and Cowloarado at bay and from interring with any more plans Dr Inferno had for Moo Mesa. This was placed during the night so the folks of the town woke up to find a lot of cannons pointing at their doorsteps!

Not only could anybody leave or enter CowTown without being fired at, but this was also to be the fate of the town. For once the comet fragment was found and its power harnessed to the terrorist's weaponary, Cowtown would be fired at and, along with the Lawcows, be destroyed in a hail of fire and missiles - with any survivors being killed (and possibly eaten - why let good beef go to waste?) or enslaved. And once CowTown had fallen, the rest of Moo Mesa would be easy to conquer...followed by the rest of the United States, then the world.
