Kayne Freshman Knight

Age – 21 (After the Time-Jump)

Height- 6’2’’

Loftwing’s Name – Raen

Family – Saeko (Father), Lanae (Mother), Taryne (Older Sister), Kamylle (Younger Sister)

Bio – Both of Kayne’s parents grew up in the middle class. It wasn’t until they started their own business that moved them into the wealthier class, but they don’t brag or show off their money, they worked hard for it and it paid off. Kayne is the middle child of two other siblings, his older sister was named Taryne, and he has a younger sister by the name of Kamylle. Even though his family is wealthy he doesn’t really go around and flaunt or demand stuff to be given to him, he works hard for what he wants. When he was old enough he joined the academy and is now a knight, a role that he was excited about cause he worked hard for it. He still makes time to visit his family and tells them stories of his adventures.

Personality – Since his past self and since becoming a knight Kayne has toned himself down quite a bit. That isn’t to say he wasn’t before. He still retains his regular friendly disposition, which shouldn’t be confused for him trying to come on to people, he doesn’t like to do that. He takes pride from coming from Crescent Resevoir, and can be a little snobbish when he meets other people from that island. He also developed the protective personality, since he has two sisters, one older and one younger, he likes to make sure they’re well taken care of at all times, well at least his little sister. He’s a hard worker and when he wants something he’ll work very hard to get it, such as him wanting to become a knight. Other than that he likes swimming, reading, drawing, walking around skyloft, or flying with his bird and occasionally visiting his family.

When younger his body structure was scrawny but since becoming a knight he’s done a lot more swimming and climbing. He may not win in a fist fight but he’s quick and agile and can probably hold his own against the person. Depending on who it is.

Mieylo – In the post time skip Mieylo was his boyfriend for a while. They liked each other but it wasn’t until one day that news of Mieylo’s disappearance shocked Kayne. He fell into a small depression and visited the graveyard and grave often but still keeps his memory of them in his heart.

Capell – This girl grew up on the same island as Kayne and they had met before when little. When in the academy Kayne developed feelings for her and had started having a crush on her. But those feelings have died down since he hasn’t seen her in a while, and he no longer has a crush on her. If she were to ever come back he’d probably treat her as a friend but who knows if those feelings are still there. One thing he will admit is that he does miss having her around, her personality made him smile and he enjoyed her presence.

Raen – He loves his bird to death and if anything were to ever happen to her he’d go into a fit of pure rage. As Raen was flying one day she was attacked, and that caused her to break one of her wings. Unfortunately she wasn’t able to make it that far before she fell down onto Kayne’s island, landing by the giant lake they had. Kayne was doing his normal rounds when he saw her fall and immediately headed in that direction. When he came across her she of course flared her feathers at him but eventually let him come check out her wing. Since a storm was brewing he led her back to his place and kept her in with his other family’s loftwings. He nursed her wing back to health and when it was time to say bye, she decided to stay with him and from then on the two have been inseparable.

Personality – Raen is a sassy bird in nature. She loves to make sure her feathers are clean and then show them off to show other birds how pretty she is, likes to show off her speed, and likes to show how agile and acrobatic she is. She gets along well with other birds as long as the birds don’t do anything to make her angry. She takes pride in her speed, and when she sees another loftwing who’s equally fast she’ll decide to race them. Case in point she likes to try to be the best she can. She has a strong bond with Kayne, and is quite fond of him, and is even protective of him. Normally she’s either flying about or if Kayne is at the waterfall lake in Skyloft she’s normally seen just sitting by a tree watching him. If ever angered she has a unique habit of ruffling up her feathers and getting into a charge like stance, and she is never afraid to attack another bird who seems to be dangerous.
