Description

This is the profile of one of my LEP Terrorist Villains: The Batlord.

NAME: Batlord

VILLAIN CLASS: 1 - Extremely Dangerous - Do not Approach alone!

POSITION: General in Blue Hook Oragnization. He provides the ammunition (someone provides the firearms), tactics and gadgetry.

REAL NAME: Al Lusion

FORMER OCCUPATION: Hollywood Special Effects Artist

PROFILE: Way head of his own time, Al Lusion liked to wow his audience with what he could achieve and was the head of his own services. Sadly his effects were pretty dangerous, over-dramatic and either left the stunt actors in hospital or the studio burned down. Before long, no sane director wanted him on their team and f they did, he was kept under close watch. This made him more depressed and angry against the Dream Factory.

The Batlord, in question, was really an old movie that never made it to the silver screen, believing that there was a curse on it, planted by the actor that played the lead villian when he had a serious accident on set. By chance Al stumbled upon the costume in an abandoned Sound Stage. He doned the armour and used it to steal a valvable gemstone from a museum and hid it in plain sight on the studio set he was working on. This also gave him the opportunity to frame the director, but he wasn't able to retrieve the jewel. He therefore had to dress up as the Batlord again and tried to scare everybody away. But he was caught and unmasked in old Scooby-Doo style. After he was arrested, he was finally kicked out of Hollywood and no film company in the world wanted him again. So he fully became the Batlord and turned to a life of crime and terror, whilst Al Lusion faded away into the shadows...

SOURCE OF POWER: Usually his creativity from his Special Effects lab was all he needed when he started - the power of illusion and beliefs, but when he encounted the ThunderCats, he delved deeply into the Dark Magic of Thundera and Third Earth that he soon became also as powerful as Mumm-Ra. Despite his power, he's still remains a "Top-Brass" lackey in the Blue Hook.

TRAITS: Never seen without his Bat-Staff (his main power-source), his sword and his mechanical flying fire-breathing dragon (his own personal aircraft). He also has a gaggle of his own dark knights. He never uses medieval dialect at all, unlike various Batman villains, and perfers using modern technology and warfare, such as computers, missiles, armed soldiers and robots to do his work - but he rarely resolves to use a gun. His armour and cape were based on the attire of Doctor Doom from classic Fantastic Four cartoons, or Super Hero Squad.

FOULEST DEEDS: The one person he truly hates, apart from Irun, was Lion-O - because the Lord of the ThunderCats could easily beat him in a sword duel as well as spoiling his plans. When he found out that Lion-O had married an Earth woman and had a daughter, he planned to attack them as revenge - or he didn't want another Lion-O in his life. But Lion-O left his Earth family in order to protect them as an attempt to lure the Batlord away. Both plans failed. The Batlord attacked Lion-O's wife, but left her in a coma and their house destroyed, whilst the baby daughter survived and went to live her mother's family - and later became Lion-Oss: Lady (and Leader) of the New ThunderCats

UTTER DESPISES: All League-Folk, Care Bears, Moo Masons, Gormiti Lords of Nature, Time Lords, but ThunderCats especially.

NOTE: The figure in question started out as a minifigure from the LEGO Castle Range in the 90's.
