Shiva [Writing Challenge]A million cats sat, walked, stared in unison. Soulless, tired eyes froze. Paw steps echoed off the light, padded forest floor and grass weaved its way into a door, blocking the medicine cat den entrance. Wind whistled harmonically, giving off a hauntingly beautiful sing-song whisper.
It was impossible.
The medicine cats didn’t even try to figure it out. They joined in the posture of every other; sitting, staring blankly with so much shock, so much wonder boiling inside them.
It was impossible.
How could it have happened? Why would have it happened? Was there more than meets the eye to the quiet daughter of the deceased leader? The one who least defended herself, turning tail at the slightest insult? The one who shied away, even in the midst of the silentest night, or at the experience any cat would snatch away, without a single heartbeat of hesitation, with a –snap!- of their claws?
It had to be a dream. It had to be impossible.
Impossible.
Even more impossible for t we will put our hands together [SP Challenge]Beetlewhisker curled around Applefur, the chill of the night really setting in.
Her russet fur brushed against his milky brown and white tabby fur, and her eyes were closed. She wasn’t the cuddling type in any way, but to her, Beetlewhisker was one big lump of fur with a large heart. He rested his muzzle on her head, grooming at a tuft standing up on her forehead.
They were StarClan’s adventurers.
After Beetlewhisker had escaped Limbo, Applefur had followed him. In the world that was not StarClan, Applefur had died in her sleep. But, now, the two could be together for forever.
Applefur had always despised the crowds of cats that asked her about what happened. Beetlewhisker had been the only one that kept her from sourly growling at anybody. However, StarClan gave them a choice.
They could remain in StarClan, or, if they still wished for something else, they could venture off into the endless landscape that remained in StarClan, but no cat went to, because of the warmth that iscariot [Writing Contest]Briarfrost had always thought of Lynxfrost as a little sister, despite her lewd and manipulative behavior.
Lynxfrost had always thought of Briarfrost as a little sister, despite her high intelligence and strategic exterior.
Briarfrost tried to block Lynxfrost’s “casuals” and replaced them with her cold, witty remarks that made her smirk in secret.
Lynxfrost tried to look past Briarfrost’s intelligence and replace it with laziness.
Mirrors show who you are when you look into them.
Unless you block it out and focus on the good or bad things.
Lynxfrost had cracked her mirror and stared into it sideways, her cold mind manipulating the mirror into looking at Briarfrost’s bad traits, making her feel like babying the she-cat.
Briarfrost had shattered her mirror in several, carefully thought-out places, her intelligence molding the mirror into pulling out the good, innocent parts of Lynxfrost.
Somewhere along the way, those mirrors grew back into their normal arra
