The formalities are now over. Welcome to the 156th running of the Queen's Plate! Everything you just read up there is formal lingo to the horse racing world. I'm sorry if it confused you at all. I will be breaking down all of that up there down below shortly.

To Begin I'm going to state that this is Part RNG, Part Effort based.

The majority of the points will be Effort. Bonus Points, or Deductions, will come from RNG.

•This race is Open to ALL Three Year Olds (Thoroughbred).
•I will only take 20 entries.
• On April 1st I will open this for any current stables to enter a second horse if they'd like! Hurry though, the slots are running out!! Limit of One Horse Entry. That way as many people as possible can enter.
•It is a first come, first serve basis.
•The Order of Go will be decided by Random.org once all 20 spots are filled. Or before the race runs, on race day. Do not worry about race picture and saddle number.
•The race will run on the 30th of April (GMT 9:00 PM <-- or as promptly there too)
•This is the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown. I do not plan on hosting the other two legs, unless people tell me enough in advance to get journals set up, and have time for entries to come in.
•Draw an image of your horse during the race. (Not winning)
•Extra images can be anything from arriving to leaving, or the after parties of such a great event. Link extra images in Entry Description

This race is now sanctioned to be the large Prep Race for TheJockeyClub 's Kentucky Derby. If you place in the Top Four of this race, you will gain either 2-8 extra points for the Derby race! All horses in this race will qualify for the Derby.

*I will host a JoinMe session to watch a randomly picked race with 20 horses in it. If your horses number gets 1st, then it gets +20 points. Every place after that decreases the benefits by one till you get to last place, who will gain +1. I would recommend not counting on the RNG to help you. Focus more on doing a good job on your art entry, incase "your" horse doesn't do so well in the "race".
