Character Creation Guidelines

Here are some guidelines for making an OC for this group! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

____Factions____

                                                             
-There are two factions that this world revolves around:

             **The Ivory Organization: A large scale group with the goal of taking control of the ruined world and reshaping it in their image of perfection, order and law.

             **The Onyx Rebellion: A rebel group formed with the goal of freeing the world from the Ivory and restoring it back to it's true former glory under true hope, freedom, and peace.


Keep in mind which group your Oc will be apart of.
Note: Making your character an Ivory doesn't necessarily mean they have to be villainous, etc just as your OC doesn't have to be all righteous and good if they're an Onyx. This isn't the basis of your Character's personality, just outlines what side they're on and what values they might have.

____Ranks/Professions____

When filling out your application you must put what rank your character is. (Or rank AND profession if you're a pawn)


Both the Onyx and the Ivory share the same rank system. This is basically the role/rank your OC is going to be and once you choose, you cannot change unless you are promoted or demoted.

**King(Not open for selection): The leader of the Onyx/Ivory. The King calls the shots and makes the rules. They also get the final say on whether or not a mission or plan is to be carried out. If they are captured/killed, the Queen takes up the position until the King returns, if they return. If the queen is captured after the king, or vice versa, it is a checkmate. A 'Checkmate' is a frame of time that the group has to free their respective leaders before they are raided by the opposing faction in an attempt to take them down. There is no set leader after the king/queen so everyone must collaborate as equals in order to have a chance of succeeding.

Bishop
         -Main Job:Spy Regime + Info retrieval
                       -Sub Job: Sharpshooter backup
         -Equipment: Long ranged weapons(Guns, Bows+arrows, etc), Explosives/EMPs
Slots open: (7)-Ivory, (7) Onyx

Knight
        -Main Job:Providing Medical Assistance
                      -Sub Job:Recon and search+rescue
        -Equipment: Close Ranges weapons + shields
Slots open: Infinite (both)

Rook
        -Main Job:Acting as guards and main offense during raids or battles
                      -Sub Job:Act as escorts during supply retrieval and delivery
        -Equipment:Heavy weaponry, close range weapons
Slots open: Infinite (both)

Pawns
          Multiple Jobs.

     ***Technician:
             Job: Working the various computer networks, databases, tech for the group.
                -Subjob: Hacking

     ***Mechanic:
             Job: Repairing vehicles and weapons
                -Subjob: Maintaining various machinery and core of inventing new devices
     
     ***Soldier:
             Job: Willing to fight during battles and raids
               -Subjob: Protecting civilians and bystanders

        -Equipment: Varies. Must fit specific job.

_____Appearance____

-For both The Ivory and The Onyx, a pin of their respective chess piece must be present somewhere on their clothes and visible. (Ex: Bishops will have a pin of the bishop chess piece somewhere presently visible on their outfit) -> Reference for Pins: :thumb518767414:

The Ivory Organization

               -Outfits must be conventional. Although there is no set uniform, the outfit must maintain a color code of White and Red, with White being the main color.  The exception to this is any type of armor. It must be either silver or gold plated armor with some form of red on it and your respective chess piece on a visible part of the armor.
               
               -Depending on your profession, The Ivory dress code will not allow outfits that inhibit working at your full potential, this counts for any type of armor as well. Light weight armor is preferred but not mandatory for those who function as types of fighters.

               -Outfits must be somewhat formal or at least must present a tone of superiority and sophistication and/or confidence. This goes for armor as well.


The Onyx Rebellion


               -There is no uniform not present except for a color code of Black and Blue, with Black being the main color.

               -Members of the Onyx are allowed to wear whatever they please as long as it isn't too reveling. Expressing your personality through your chosen outfit is greatly encouraged and welcome.

                -It is recommended to have some sort of mask or face covering accessory that doesn't restrict eyesight but effectively hides your identity. This is not mandatory but optional.

Don't forget to give a good idea of your character's personality as well as some insight to their past/history and what lead up to them joining either the Ivory or the Onyx. This RP is a story that will eventually connect everyone and everything so every detail counts!

You are free to collaborate with other OC-Admins if you wish to have their OC and yours have some previous history together (friends, family, etc) but please state these relations in the details of your Oc's application+bio
