 Species Explanation:
An unidentified force put a curse on her during a school trip three years ago. Basically a magically enhanced human.

 Abilities: 
_~Insanity Warp
        Cursed with "Terror," Yasmine is deathly afraid of pain. She will do anything, say anything, and kill anyone to avoid it. When damaged enough, she enters an Insanity Warp mode. Her attacks are faster, stronger, and more skilled. However, it comes at the price of her sanity. All sense of ethics, societal norms and self-preservation disappear. The more damage she takes, the stronger the Warp becomes. Prolonged sessions make it harder and harder to come back to normal...

    ~Cooking
        More of a talent than ability~ Be it decadent sweets or all natural, organic, weight-watchers delight, Yasmine can bake, fry and saute it all. It just may not LOOK exactly eatable...

      A somewhat awkward teenager , Yasmine's life is defined by boundaries and walls. She likes staying in areas she knows well, interacting with people she knows well and doing things she's done before. The young woman will do anything to avoid change and the unfamiliar. She works well with others and prefers to be around other people than by herself. Her constant fear taints everything she does, often making her cowardly and judgmental. Contrarily, she creates deep bonds with those she's close to, and will do much to protect them.

 History:

Up until her sophomore year of high school, Yasmine lived the average of life of an average middle-class American student. Her appearance, social circle and grades were also average. Home consisted of two older brothers, a single mom, and her slobbery great Dane, all of which also led relatively average lives. Her world consisted of nothing scarier than math homework, boys and Pretty-in-Pink manicures. 
    
    That was BI, Before It. A time much simpler than AI, After It. AI paints an entirely different picture. During a school trip to the ancient hinterlands of the deep American South, Yasmine stumbled upon something. Something she can't exactly describe. All she remembers is a siren's song luring her into the swampy depths, a banshee's wail, blazing orange runes, and an all-encompassing, crushing sense of fear that eventually made her black out. 

    When she awoke, the doctor had a third eye, the nurse hovered half an inch above the ground, and she nearly went ballistic when they tried to prick her with a needle. It took two full years for Yasmine to crawl out of the crippling sense of despair and confusion the episode put her into. She became forever changed, able to interact with the supernatural and unable to authentically interact with her own family. After graduating high school, she took her first chance to escape, which came in the form of the Academy...
