Contest: Where The Wild(lings) Are

I think it's about time I opened up another contest, as it's been absolutely ages since my last one! I want to focus this time around on my 'traditional' Unicorns, Wildlings, more specifically the Tarandus Family - which includes my very own Signe, and Knut:

What are Wildling Unicorns?
Wildling Unicorns are defined as 'Classical Unicorns'. They feature several characteristics of other creatures; their hooves are cloven like deer, downward ears similar to a goat (or outward facing like a deer), their tails and long and tufted like a lion's, and their coats are generally thicker than most unicorn coats. They are an old and rather ancient species that have inhabited their areas for many generations, refusing to make way for development purposes that other species have in mind. Their main goal, no matter what tribe they hail from, is to protect the inhabitants of their establishments.
They behave and have cultures similar to primitive humans; they act as a unit, with a distribution of gatherers (food collection), warriors (defending the clan), as well as foal sitters and those who specialise in other areas of intrigue, such as magic and restoration

Signe: ('See-nay')

Signe is a gentle, absent-minded girl who helps protect the forest that her clan live in, along with her five other siblings. She is the second oldest of the six of them, and the oldest girl. Her coat is lighter than her brothers and sister, and her mane slightly off-white compared to theirs. Size-wise, she's taller than most ponies, due to her long, deer-like legs.

Knut:

Knut is the playful sort. He's the youngest of the Tarandus Family, and that means he has five older siblings constantly looking after him. This doesn't make for much fun, and occasionally he can try to sneak off and hide from then! He's larger than a normal pony colt due to his heritage, but still much smaller than a stallion. He's just over half the height of his sister.

So, much like my last competition, it's a 'your character meets' moment! How would your OC react to meeting one of these ancient Unicorns? There's a few different options to pick from, if you don't have anything springing to mind, however. You may:

• Draw your OC with either of my characters (see above)
• Draw a canon character with either of my characters (see above)
• Draw both of the above characters together, instead of another pony.

And of course, what is a competition without Prizes?

Well, depending on entry numbers, they can look like this:

First Place Prize:

$30 OR 12 pre-paid months Premium Membership, with 20 entries or more,

6 Months Premium Membership, or money equivalent, with 10-19 entries,

Custom Wildling Character/Design, whatever the amount of entries!

Second Place:

3 months Premium Membership, with 15 entries or more

500 Points, with 10-14 entries,

Custom Wildling Character/Design, whatever the entry numbers!

Third Place:

Custom Wildling Character/Design, whatever the entry numbers!

AND EVERYONE WHO ENTERS AND/OR MAKES A JOURNAL ABOUT THIS CONTEST GETS ENTERED INTO A RAFFLE FOR A PONY COMMISSION OF THEIR CHOOSING!

Not all Prizes are rolling; that means if the top one is reached, you get the top prize, and a custom design, but not anything below that. These might not be it in terms of prizes, if I get a bigger response than I hope for, then I may end up adding in a few more things, depending on what I have time for, and can afford.

Now, the rules:

• Entries must adhere to one of the three options given above
• Nothing mature filtered is allowed.
• No base-work or traced items will be accepted - it's not fair to win when it's not really all your own work.
• All art forms are accepted! Digital, Traditional, Crafts, etc!
• Enter as many times as you see fit, there's no limit
(but each entry will be judged individually, unless it's a comic, etc)
• Prizes can be transferred to someone else, should the winner want to.
