What are points?
Points are just what I accidentally call Bics when I'm having a bad day, sorry xD Points = Bics XD Experience is different however, Bics buy things from the Bic Exchange and Experience levels up your rank.

When you say we get Bics for helping other members, do you mean us drawing ourselves helping them, or us literally helping them?
Sorry, bad wording, I mean literally helping, so telling them where a feature is or how something works :3

How come there are real life animals and fantasy animals living with Pokemon?
Quilava Quarry is in a parallel universe, so that's just the way things are for them. If they visited Earth they'd say "where are the Quilavas and dragons and what the heck are otters and hamsters doing with humans?" XD

Do we start with a rank?
No, you just start as one of the four classes, and get to choose a rank after you get 100 experience (complete 1 monthly challenge)

Can characters evolve and if so how/when?
Characters can only evolve once you have 2400 experience (2 years of monthly challenges) - they are basically the ultimate reward for devoted members X3

Do mini challenges expire?
No, you can do a mini challenge from as long ago as you want and still get a reward X3 Only monthly challenges expire :3

When producers start farming, how long until they get their own farm?
Once producers reach the 2nd rank, they get to have their own farm rather than working on an NPC's; when they reach their final rank, they can actually hire other players to work on their farm if those players agree

Do we have to choose movesets of 4 moves?
No, you may use any moves that make logical sense to solve monthly challenges.

So whats the process when people make characters? Do you have a journal linking to the rules of what and whats not allowed on starter designs?
Yes, check the "Rules" journal ( quilava-quarry.deviantart.com/… ). It talks about what is and isn't allowed. Contact an admin if you're still not sure.

And do they need to be approved by you or us before they can start being used?
Nope, just make a character, no approval needed. If it breaks the rules we'll find it >:C Otherwise have fun XD

Does the age at which characters start matter?
No, they can be any age you want. Just as a reference, most Quilavas would start work at about 15 years 6 months or older, but you don't have to go with that.

And they start with any accessories?
Yes, as long as they're not overpowered. Again, check "Rules" ^w^

And they can start with different types or is that something you earn?
You can have up to 1 other type as well as fire (or just be fire). You don't have to earn this, you can start with it and add or change it at any time - but you can only have 1.

Do we get Bics for things not listed on the Bic Exchange?
Yes, you can get "bonus Bics" for things like drawing your character outside a monthly challenge, you don't get as many but you can get a few extra Bics that way :3

Can we start with multiple characters?
No, you can only have one to start with, however after the first challenge you can buy another one so they're not too hard to get X3

Can we make more than one entry for a monthly challenge?
Yes, you can make as many entries as you want, though they don't get extra points (except maybe bonus bics if they're really good x3)

How can numbats and otters be pets if they are smart enough to have their own civilization?
"Pet" doesn't always have the same meaning in Quilava Quarry, it can also mean something more like "assistant" or "companion" which is what is meant when otters, numbats or intelligent pokemon are described as "pets".
