Description

"The lost land of Lemuria is within your reach..."

Those words, found in a small booklet on 'games you might like if you liked this one' are actually what drew me to buy Golden Sun: The Lost Age in the first place.  If it weren't for Lemuria, I probably never would have discovered the amazing series that is Golden Sun.
And wow, I still vividly remember how huge my drive was to discover this "lost land."  When I found out Piers was from Lemuria I flipped out.  When I found Yallam I spent a long time memorizing the songs the children sang.

"If you want to go to the Sun, if you want to go to the Sun..."

I tried to get through the Sea of Time way before I had the Trident.
I still vividly remember the night I finally finished forging it and actually beat Poseidon - it had been time for bed HOURS before, but I had been far too excited by the thought of getting to Lemuria to sleep that night.  I hid my GameBoy under my pillow to play it past midnight.  I think it was 2 am when I finally sailed through those clouds for the first time, and saw the little island waiting in the center of the calm zone.

I will never forget how happy that sight made me - about as happy as I'm sure it made Felix's battle-weary party.
I tried to capture that sense of awe and wonder here, in this painting.  I hope you like it.

What are your happy memories from playing Golden Sun?

...
That aside, this is my entry for the :icongoldensun-club: Locations Contest!  Thank you SO much for all the extensions.  Schoolwork has been taking most of my time, and this was still sort of rushed because of that, but I felt a need to create it anyway.
