Time for another issue of Feature O' Friends! This series is aimed at developing and nurturing community spirit by allowing members to suggest a friend to be featured in the next issue. Those who suggest a friend will also have their art featured as well. :deviation:

How to Feature


Interested? Come on, we'd love to see who you're willing to suggest! But before you do any suggesting, here are some guidelines and steps you should take in order to participate.
  1. First, think of a friend who you think deserves a feature, and write up to 5 sentences why you think your friend should be featured.
  2. Choose two deviations from their gallery and paste the thumb codes of them here. Make sure to delete the last : from the thumb code so that it is easier for us to copy and paste.
  3. Also include the thumb codes of two of your own artworks.
  4. Submit your suggestion as a comment on this journal, and wait for you and your friend to be featured in the next issue. :happybounce:

This is a fantastic traditional artist who, honestly, I think doesn't get enough love or credit for her work. Her work is always quality and well-detailed, and covers a wide range of subjects. Gemmie is also one of the sweetest and kindest people I've met on here, so much so I wish I could meet her in person. She is awesome to work with and always gives 150% percent without thinking about it. And never once does she brag on herself, just encourages her friends to the best of her ability:D And as a fellow Kakashi Hatake fan (Naruto), she helps me run my group HatakeClanUnited. She is a real treasure^^

She's a good friend of mine and she works hard in her drawings everyday. She's very talented and is always looking on ways to improve her art further, which has certainly reflected on every work. She always pays attention to detail, colors and harmony in her art and I'm sure everyone can notice her effort as well. I've really liked her art ever since and I think she deserves more attention.

She's a great artist who's skills with digital have developed at a scary fast speed :'D I love her colour choices and the composition of all her drawings - they always leave me mesmerized. Not to mention, she's great with traditional medium as well! I feel like anyone who hasn't had a look at her gallery is missing out!

Thank you so much for the feature! And there are so many lovely works displayed here! This is a wonderful way to get the word out for lesser know artists, so thank you for that too!! :huggle:

(P.S I would suggest someone but that would seem like cheating to me...you know, getting my work put up there twice... ^^; oh well, maybe next time!~ )
