Hello everybody and welcome to the final week of NaPoWriMo x BeautyInRawHumanity crossover! We hope your April has been kind to you so far, that you're still on track for all of your NaPo/NaNo as we move into the home stretch, and that your preparations for big exams are coming along the way you need them (Lord knows I'm studying like mad)! We had a great 3 weeks of a solid turnout from some truly amazing artists, and we wanted to give those folks a really quick round of applause. Thank you so much to repeat participants in Nocturnalissscripted-silence, andfiercestrawberry, and another big thank you to our recent posters in Blacksand459, QuirkyCuriousBex32bees, WindFragments, and comatose-comet for all participating in the third week of our unofficial crossover with NaPoWriMo. Of course, I also want to thank our very own admin for participating this week too, so another big round of applause for LadyOfFrost, as well!

Seeing as how we're in the final week now, it should be pretty apparent what this writing project is all about but if it isn't, here's what it is: 1 poem a day for the 30 days of April! And here at BeautyInRawHumanity we thought with this great event that began this month that this is the perfect time for another post to get some great literature going and it most certainly has up to this point. So with the first three weeks down, we have finally arrived to the final week of prompts so we're going to have 7(+2) this week to cover the entirety of National Poetry Writing Month 2015! And with each journal, of course, we will also feature the best two pieces submitted to the group from the prior week.

Here are two of our favorite pieces from our own NaPoWriMo submissions from Week 3:
Watercolor DreamsFlimsy watercolor dreams that
can be erased with a few teardrops
cannot make you feel alive,
but my chest was so hollow that
even a dying star was enough
to set my eyes alight
She drinks her whiskey straightShe drinks her whiskey straight
like her daddy did—it makes
her feel close to him.
He left during the winter.
She sits where he used to
every afternoon,
watching the setting sun
bring cold days to their end.
Blanket bunched
around her shoulders,
she drowns herself,
the silence carrying
her daddy’s voice.

And seeing as how this is the final full week of NaPoWriMo, even if you haven't posted to our NaPoWriMo folder before, we'd love to see you include a piece now! Maybe you'll find yourself in our end of the month feature before we head into May!

(Please note: You don't have to use our prompts to submit to our NaPoWriMo 2015 folder. As long as it relates to BeautyInRawHumanity's movement as a whole and is stated that it was written for the purpose of National Poetry Writing Month 2015, we still accept your submissions.)

Here's the BeautyInRawHumanity folder where you can submit your NaPoWriMo related lit: BIRH x NaPoWriMo 2015

And here is our final set of prompts for the first week of NaPoWriMo 2015:
1. Dear Future Me
2. Letter to your future child(ren)
3. Creation, Death, Reincarnation
4. My Best Friend
5. Naked
6. “The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely.”  - C.G. Jung
7. Best Quality
8. Fragments (From a member of ours, actually! Thank you to the lovely RoseScarlet!)
9. A dance, any kind of dance. (Another from the lovely RoseScarlet!)

And our very own introverted-ghost is also on board with deviantART's official NaPoWriMo page (NaPoWriMo) so please go check those guys out as well for more prompts too!

There's also a sort of side project going for National Poetry Writing Month that I am personally apart of over at gliitchmonth! With the same intentions as NaPoWriMo(writing 1 poem a day for the month of April), we want to push the boundaries of poetry in a dynamic direction, to encourage people to write outside of the box and in different ways so go on over there to see all of the dynamically produced prompts that are available! Shout-out to my good friends in gliitchlord for making it an "official" thing,AyeAye12 for starting this beautiful accident in the first place, and ghostinafog on the return back around these parts! We're so glad to see you again!

On the topic of friends, here are a few of their journals on Week 4 of National Poetry Writing Month '15:
Weekly Contest #4! Last One!Side note:
Some of the admin have been experiencing weird issues with the messaging centre, and that may explain why some of the submissions have not been excepted due to not being seen. So we are in the process of looking into it. If you find your submission hasn't been checked in awhile, let us know because it may be due to that and not just us not getting to it. We ask that you bare with us as we were not expecting it. Good old dA.
Also! The folder for Week 4 is now open! I haven't posted the Prompts Journal yet, I'll be doing it tomorrow but I am ready to pass out. I spent all day in the Clinic and the the hospital cause I have Strep and my throat was nearly closed SO...lol The antibiotics I have are making me super drowsy @_@ I'll up tomorrow putting out the journal and studying for finals so expect the journal out then! Apologies.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the contest for Week 3! The winner will be announced this weekend!
Now, onto Weekly Contest 4!
Thi
Week 4 Prompts! Finally! So a quick word! In case you guys didn't see, please check out the last journal. It will clear things up about the submissions problems. dA is tripping balls I think  I went through submissions so HOPEFULLY I got most of them. But yeah, see the last journal for details.
Also! I want to say a thank you to BOTH the admins for this group...as well as YOU guys. I could not have done this by myself (especially being sick the last bit of time, and finals) without the consistent and thorough help from my fellow admin. You guys are incredible, and I can't even say how much I appreciate having you guys helping out. Everyone needs to show them some love cause they've been doing SO much behind the scenes to keep things running as smoothly as possible. That, and putting up with my silly shit when I can't function at 4 am
And this NaPo, or any, wouldn't be successful without you guys participating. I appreciate you guys submitting, participating in everything, letting us kno

(You can also find the official site for National Poetry Writing Month 2015 here: NaPoWriMo 2015)

But of course, we can't leave out another going-on in April and that's Camp NaNo! For the more prose-inclined, known that is also going on right now, so if you're participating in that, let us know in the comment section below! And if you see anyone else participating in Camp NaNo (or if you're brave and doing both NaPoWriMo 2015 AND Camp NaNo), chat 'em up!

(You can find the official site here: Camp NaNoWriMo)

We hope you have a blast with the NaPo x NaNo happenings around deviantART as they near to a close and we really hope to see you guys participate here at BeautyInRawHumanity!

And finally, a very important heads up for those of you interested in this group but haven't been able to write anything here for more personal reasons, please do remember that we have our alt account BIRHindTheScenes that is completely anonymous and safe for those who'd like to write something more personal but not necessarily want the world to know. We believe in the importance of a first step and if there's anyone who'd like to write a personal piece with complete anonymity, this would be the place to go to. To submit something, simply send us what you would like to post or link us with the st.ash as well as a description (If you so choose) and we will post it for you completely anonymously. We've actually already had one submission a few months ago that you guys can read here:
