Nepteon is based on the planet Neptune and loosely on Poseidon, the Greek God of the sea

Nepteons are pescatarian Vayamons that are roughly human sized (1.4m in height when standing on two feet.) They are one of the only marine mammals that can fly.

Even though most of thier diet is fish, crabs, ammonites and other small sea creatures, they do eat a few plants like seaweeds and celery.

Their average lifespan is 50- 55 years

The appendages on the side of a Nepteon’s head are in fact gills that they use to breathe underwater. 

A Nepteon’s hind legs become webbed when the creature is in water.

These creatures can transform their tails into tridents to attack. They are also skilled at using ice based moves, like Cryo Beam.

'Nepteon' means 'king of the sea' in ancient Vayroian language. Nepteona are very common, adaptable and widespread. In fact they are one of the succesful Vayamon species on Vayroia.
