Wesley isn’t amused. Not because his roommate is asleep with a book on his thigh and a bag of Oren Berry beside him, nor the fact it’s already past noon and he’s still fast asleep. It’s the landfill-like room before his eyes that Max resides in that really got to him. The fact that he just tidy the place up less than a day ago irritates him even more.

“Ugh… morning, Wes,” Max slowly woke up and greeted when he noticed the Rotom’s presence. His face turned bewildered when he noticed his partner’s unpleasant expression.

“Uh… what’s up with that face?” he asked.

“Max, I just cleaned up your room yesterday, and why is this place a hellhole again?” Wesley impatiently asked.

“Oh please, it’s not that bad,” Max scoffed as he sat on the side of his bed, looking around. “Just a couple piles of books here and there, some little stuff, and… that’s about all?”

Wesley sighed. “Fine, fine… The lunch’s ready, by the way.”

“Oh great, I’m starving!” Max jumped up and bolted through Wesley heading downstairs, leaving Wesley shaking his head looking at the “hellhole”.

After lunch, while Max headed out for the other Max’s farm for some berries, Wesley returned to the Aura Pokémon’s room to clean up his mess. First, he stacked up the papers lying around his desk to a small corner. He then moved all books stacked on the edge of the desk and on his bed back to the bookshelf, and sorted everything by name and type.

He whistled while flew downstairs and back with a trash bag, dumping in the trash from that filled up trash bin, as well as cleaned up all trash Max neglected to dispose of around the room.

Finally, he made the bed to almost pristine and took that bag of Oren Berries out with him. He smiled in relive as he closed the door.

3:00pm, two Maxes—the Lucario and the Zangoose, came home with two crates of Oren Berries on their hands.

“The same place, right?” Maximillian (Zangoose) asked casually without putting down the crate.

“Yep, the same place,” Maxwell (Lucario) replied, putting down the crate on the ground.

Maximillian nodded while picking up the crate Maxwell just dropped down and strolled to the storage nearby.

“More Oren?” Wesley commented, looking toward the storage.

“You know that’s the only thing he has,” Maxwell remarked, holding a cup of water he picked up from the kitchen counter. “And besides, we’re almost out of Oren.”

“Huh,” Wesley whispered and turned to the kitchen.

“Oh, and Max?”

“Yeah?” both Maxes poked into the kitchen simultaneously in response. Wesley sweat dropped.

“Your room’s all cleaned up and please, please keep it clean longer this time.”

“Alrighty~ Thanks,” Maxwell replied and headed upstairs.

Maximillian blinked his eyes. “It’s messy upstairs?” he asked.

“Well, he…”

Wesley, don’t even think about it.

A loud voice came from upstairs and echoed around the first floor. Maximillian startled and Wesley sweat dropped.

“O…kay?” Wesley forced a laugh.

Back in his room, Max looked satisfied at the tidiness of his room. The only problem is that the room is a bit too tidy for him. Every time Wesley cleans up his room he would shift everything around. Sometimes even his books are placed in different orders.

Sure, being an OCD you would think Wesley always sort them the same way, but for some reason he never place a book on the same spot twice. Every times Max goes into a newly tidied up room, he would always have to dig through that little bookshelf just to find that one book he’s looking for because he would never how which book is placed where on the shelf.

And today is no exception.

Max grumbled as he moved the front row books out of the way to look for the back row. He stacked them beside him and scanned through the shelf. When he found the book—which happens to be the one on his thigh when he woke up—he took it out and placed it on the desk, next to the neatly stacked paper Wesley ordered few hours ago.

Somehow he had completely forgotten the fact that he left the stack of books he took out from the front row still silently standing next to the shelf.

Sat in front of his desk, Max took out a piece of paper from the pile and continued writing on it—it’s the unfinished report for the expedition in Basalt Halls. Couple hours later, he rushed down and came back up with another bag of Oren Berries. He placed the bag on the desk and started munching them as he continued writing his report.

Then he returned to the forgotten stack of books, making it from one stack into three while looking for another book, and just left them lying next to the shelf again…

“Hey Max! Wes wants me to tell you that—”

*Thud!*

Few hours later, an unexpected guest rushed up the stairs toward Max’s room and tripped on the last step, fell hard on the floor. Max was sitting on the bed with a book and he jumped from the noise. He looked ahead and realized the blue-caped Buizel—Rinu—faceplanted on the floor, and a Rotom and a Zangoose followed up right behind him, trying to find out what happened.

“What happened? Rinu are you o—are you kidding me?” Wesley’s attention instantly shifted from the faceplanted Buizel to the messed-up-again bedroom in front of him and the awkward-feeling Lucario sitting on the bed.

“Ooh, now I know what you mean earlier…” Maximillian, laid on top of Rinu without realizing it, remarked as he looked into the room.

Wesley’s face turn twisted, then he sighed. He wanted to say something but he was speechless. He just simply gave up and shook his head.

“What?” the Lucario innocently asked, and the whole area turned silent, like the time just froze up.

“Hey Max?” a muffled voice came from the ground suddenly and said, “You can see all you want later, but can you please move away from me? You’re heavy!”
For :iconpmdunity:

I feel like I'm about to lose my edge soon if I don't write anything so here's just something random I came up. :XD: And some cameos for teams I may or may not add into my list of permanent cameos.

Wesley is a neat freak and has OCD, which means he always wanted his surroundings to be in perfect shape. That's why he is responsible for most of the chores in Max's house because Wesley insisted that he does them himself.

And his Lucario partner, on the other hand, isn't really a sloppy 'mon, but Max has a tendency to always leave his stuff lying around his room, and a bad habit of forgetting to clean up after himself, especially in his personal space, i.e. his bedroom. =P

How can Wesley tolerate Max's sloppiness is beyond mystery, but Max really is grateful that someone can live with that.
