Epic Fights

Good news folks! We've got a new trailer for Naruto Boruto the movie.
A thing that I appreciate about this new movie is the fact that it is a combination of everything we love to see.  And we all know that when Naruto and Saskue are working together as a team we know the hype is real, and the fight is just epic. And the way it leads in, Sasuke is ready to go, Naruto going into Kyuubi mode, sasuke doing some crazy sh*t with the sword. That guy doesn't have an arm and he moves better than Naruto! I can't wait to see this movie!

Here's the link for the trailer:

September Schedule

In the world of Naruto Shippuden, the Fourth Great Ninja War continues! However, aside from a select few, most ninja are trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, dreaming of their ideal life. Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga highlighted dreams of a few ninja very briefly. The Naruto Shippuden anime, on the other hand, is dedicating full episodes, and including content not in the original manga – filler. The month of September started out with a two-episode special focusing on Tenten’s ideal world, which interestingly enough, featured characters from Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie. This and next Thursday, the anime will focus on the Hidden Cloud Village’s Killer Bee being the hero. Then the month will conclude with Karin dreaming about a meeting with Sasuke in her hometown of the Hidden Grass Village during a Chunin Exam.

Below is the Naruto Shippuden schedule for September 2015 and the first two episodes of October. The month of October, episode 432, will kick off with a brand new opening and ending. Naruto Shippuden opening 18 will be titled “LINE” by Japanese duo Sukima Switch, who also lent their talents for The Last Naruto the Movie theme song Hoshi no Utsuwa (Star Vessel). Naruto Shippuden ending 35 will be titled “Trouble Maker and will be by Japanese band KANIKAPILA.

pagesofmylife

So what do you think about "Naruto"'s first day? xD
The kids playing/fighting scene was adorable in my opinion but Hima is kinda scary!!
BTW Great news knowing Hima has a byakugan too!

Also people think this means there'll be more official manga, do you think it

Trailers 7th and 8th of Naruto: Boruto the Movie have been released.

The 7th trailer is pretty shocking due to the fact that it seems that Naruto is sacrificing to save his son from a huge chakra blast.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=wixXM-…

The eighth video for Boruto: Naruto the Movie features Boruto showing Sasuke, that he too can use  the famous technique of his father (Naruto) and grandfather (Minato) – the Rasengan!
We’ve seen Boruto use Rasengan and Giant Rasengan in previous videos, but this seems like it will be the first time he will show off the jutsu in the movie which debuts in Japan on August 7.

Boruto Tv Spot

A brand new video for Boruto: Naruto the Movie is here! It’s a very quick web ad that seems to show Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki participating in an arena for what looks to be the Chunin Exams. Sarada is taking on an unknown ninja, while Boruto is fighting Shikadai using what seems to be Gentle Fist. The video teases viewers about Mitsuki’s parents, but does not actually reveal who they are.

RUMORS!!

Kishimoto's retirement

On july 2nd a post came out in 4chan about Kishimoto's retirement from drawing Naruto series, the post no longer exist but it came with a picture from a manga page and a translation, now the thread is all over anime pages like Tumblr, Reddit or this

“The Boruto Movie, for the first time everything begins, starting with original characters. That is to say, it’s an original work of the author, me [Kishimoto], with everything existing completely and only inside my head. For the first time in the 11th Naruto movie I wrote the entire script by myself, devised the character designs, refining them until I was satisfied, than for the sake of perfection requested that the staff to refine them further. When serialization ended, immediately all the time I used to spend on the manga was poured into the movie. In truth this is the Naruto film I really wanted to make. One last word….after this I won’t draw anything further.“

New manga for 2016?

On the other hand there's this post about Viz Media new acquisitions for 2016 including Naruto:

"San Francisco, CA, July 6, 2015 – Viz Media, LLC (Viz Media), the largest publisher, distributor and licensor of manga and anime in North America, has detailed a wide array of brand new manga (graphic novel) and prose novel acquisitions that include several notable titles to be launched during the Winter and Spring 2016 seasons.

New Winter 2016 Acquisitions

NARUTO: THE SEVENTH HOKAGE AND THE SCARLET SPRING · Rated ‘T’ for Teens ·Debuting Winter 2016
Naruto was a young shinobi with an incorrigible knack for mischief. Then he channeled that energy into learning amazing ninja techniques and saving the world! Now Naruto has achieved his dream of becoming the greatest ninja in the village, and his face sits atop the Hokage monument. But new troubles are bubbling up in the shinobi world…"

Boruto the movie, story revealed!

Borutage to the max!! Constantly! A brand new scan of Boruto: Naruto the Movie has been released from the 26th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine and it previews a small bit of information on the story.

Boruto is the son of the 7th Hokage Naruto who completely rejects his father. Behind this, he has feelings of wanting to surpass Naruto, who is respected as a hero. He ends up meeting his father’s friend Sasuke, and requests to become… his apprentice!? The curtain on the story of the new generation written by Masashi Kishimoto rises!

Could Boruto somehow be a lightning style user? We’re not sure about that, but the words “Borutage” are written across the scan as a play of sorts on Boruto’s name, which means “bolt” and the English word “voltage”. If Boruto is a lightning style user, we think Sasuke would be the perfect teacher!

The scan also mentions Boruto does not want to be Hokage and that Sasuke acknowledges Boruto is different from Naruto. Sarada, on the other hand, is excited to show off her skills to Naruto. In regards to the boy who there is a sketch of, Mitsuki (who we’ve seen in the Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring manga), it just mentions he is a composed, mysterious boy and poses the question “who exactly is he!?”

Boruto: Naruto the Movie hits theater in Japan on August 7, 2015. Madman Entertainment has announced the movie will also make its way to Australia later this year, however, no specific date has been mentioned as of this time. No word from Viz Media on the movie’s North American premiere either.

Kishimoto's interview

Two big names from the anime/manga world in one room!
A special interview between Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, and Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece.
The two talk about how they first met, their influences, each others manga, and the experiences working on Naruto and One Piece. Take a look at the full interview below in English thanks to William from OnePiecePodcast.
  • Question: When did you two first meet?
  • Kishimoto: When… I think it’s when I was still a newbie mangaka. In the Jump new year event.
  • Oda: Is that so?
  • Kishimoto: Maybe. (laugh) At the time, my impression on him was like he’s a great and famous sensei.
  • Oda: What’re you saying… (wry smile) (Oda was saying ‘you’re making fun of me’ friendly.)
  • Kishimoto: Nah… Because Oda-san started the serial run of his manga two years earlier than me. I really thought a super sugoi man had appeared. Later, I addressed him as Oda-sensei, but he said (like begging) that I must not use such a honorific.
  • Oda: I took that for granted cos we’re at the same age. Why would I listen to your sensei when you’re talking to me…
  • Kishimoto: Though we’re not performers, I think people who stepped into an industry earlier are admirable. (laugh)
  • Oda: I’m always aware of Kishimoto’s presense when he was a newbie. He can draw very well. To some extent, I felt we may have the same style.
  • Kishimoto: What style… (embarrassing smile)
  • Oda: It’s like the feeling of why you also have the gi of Kamesenryu (Master Roshi from DB). (laugh) From the beginning I’ve prepared with offensive state. (Oda wanted to win against Kishimoto.)
  • Kishimoto: I see, you had that determination back then. (laugh)
  • Oda: Because we’re both at the stance of manga, eventually there’ll be a winner and a loser. However, after I’ve met with him personally, I found he’s really a nice and kind man. It suddenly made me think the result didnt matter. I couldnt compete with a man like him. That’s what I thought.
  • Kishimoto: I think that’s because we both understand each other’s hard work.
  • Oda: Very pleasing to hear you say that. When you’re working hard, it’s important to know who said what about you and your work. I sense you, who has the same standpoint as me, really understand how I truly feel, good to know.
  • Kishimoto: Yes I do. (laugh) But I think I’m the one who has less pressure. Oda-san, you’re always at your peak. Your hard work and that pain must be abnormal (that normal people cannot bear). If I were you, I guess I would have gastrointestinal perforation due to huge pressure.
  • Oda: It’s wonderful having Naruto as an opponent. The luckiest thing was you didnt let me get complete victory. Actually, I didnt have complete victory in weekly serialization, besides and most importantly, Naruto is more popular than OP in foreign countries. Though a part of me was not reconciled to that turth, at the same time, I’m grateful. Cos the existence of such a piece of work, is one and only in the world.
  • Kishimoto: Same goes for me. Instead of saying OP is my target, I’d rather say I always want to beat it. Seriously, I always think that.
  • Question: Are there any manga series that have influenced you?
  • Kishimoto: I’d have to say that Toriyama-sensei has been a huge influence. Of course, there’s Dragon Ball, but I really loved Dr. Slump, as well. Other than that, I was enthralled by Katsuhiro Otomo’s Akira.
  • Oda: The first time I saw your art I thought it gave off quite a bit of Otomo-sensei’s style.
  • Kishimoto: Oh, is it that obvious? (laughs)
  • Oda: As a manga artist, you can kind of see which manga artists someone was influenced by by looking at the art or story development.
  • Kishimoto: In my case, I was considerably influenced by Dragon Ball in my story-building, I think. For example, the parts that are reminicent of that shonen-magazine style that get you excited while reading. Or the part where Goku grows up and becomes a parent, I personally really liked that. Also, Toriyama-sensei’s balance between black and white color is superb; it makes it easy to look at, and he doesn’t even use that much screentone. I really think that’s cool.
  • Oda: And even looking at Toriyama-sensei’s art from back then, it doesn’t feel old because his sense of design is great. That’s really amazing.
  • Question: Other than manga artists, is there anyone in particular who has influenced you?
  • Kishimoto: In my case I’d probably say there’s a lot of animators who influenced me.
  • Oda: Whenever Kishimoto and I hang around, he tells me all these names I never heard of, telling me that “this animator’s awesome!” Didn’t you also appoint the animator for Naruto when its anime adaptation was going to start?
  • Kishimoto: I did. (laughs)
  • Oda: Besides Kishimoto, who has a copious knowledge of the anime process, there’s no manga artist who could do that.
  • Kishimoto: The one I asked for was someone who’d won prizes overseas, in France I think. Actually, ever since I was a new manga artist, I’d been thinking of asking for him to work on Naruto if it got an anime adaptation. Of course I did that because I liked his art, but I [also] thought that if someone who is active overseas worked on the manga, maybe people all over the world would read Naruto…
  • Oda: So Naruto becoming a huge hit all over the world was pre-ordained.
  • Kishimoto: Well, back then I was just thinking that it’d be nice if it became a hit.
  • Oda: If it were you now, it wouldn’t be that weird, but back then you were still a newcomer in his second or third year of serialization. Usually you wouldn’t put that much thought into that process.
  • Question: It’s amazing that you’ve actually been able to turn that dream into a reality. What about you, Oda-sensei, are there any people who influenced you?
  • Oda: If you were to come right down to it, I’d say an animator who’s also a manga artist, Hayao Miyazaki.
  • Kishimoto: But you’re both very original. I don’t feel like you were influenced by anyone in particular.
  • Oda: That’s probably because I was an average young boy who read through a lot of different manga series. Looking back at it, I’d say that was a really good thing. Also, I was generationally lucky. Considering I’m at an age I was able to actually enjoy reading Jump while it was in its Golden Era.
  • Kishimoto : Exactly! We really were right in the middle of that era. Because you’d buy Jump every week, you’d read the story in real-time each week and things like “this is how you create an interesting story” or “this is how you put together thrilling plot developments,” and so forth. It all was deeply engrained in you. Reading it all at once in the manga volumes is just different.
  • Oda: Our generation is proud that we were able to enjoy the best of Jump, right? (laughs)
  • Question: Mr. Kishimoto, could you tell us which One Piece character or story you like?
  • Kishimoto: Okay, I’m not saying this because Oda’s here in front of me, but I like all of it! (laughs) But I am very interested in the Spring-Spring Fruit abilities Bellamy has and his personality is very interesting as well. Although, I would have to say Chopper’s backstory! Things like his first time meeting with Hiruluk, or the cherry blossom snow falling as he leaves the island, that really gets to you!
  • Oda: I’m happy to hear you say that.
  • Kishimoto: Although, I like him, but he’s also scary! I mean, in many ways doesn’t he hold more “power” than Luffy? That’s why I think Chopper might be the “real boss.” (laughs)
  • Question: A theory about Chopper being the real boss? (laughs) What would make you think that?
  • Kishimoto: Mmm, not sure. Luffy’s the main character and more beloved than anyone else, but that’s all through Chopper’s existence! I mean, I really think that he created a kind of synergistic effect. He has this “presence” and gives off this “mood” and he actually holds a key role among the crew. Like, Chopper’s cute, but he’s actually a monster.
  • Oda: Chopper secretly thinks of evil deeds, wait, stop lying! (laughs) As a bit of an inside story, Chopper was a character born out of desperation. Originally I had him mapped out as a tall, lanky bipedal reindeer but Luffy, Zoro, Sanji [Nami and Usopp] were too popular and I couldn’t find a place for Chopper. I thought that if I’d gone with that design, he’d have been upstaged by the other characters so I made him a bit shorter.
  • Kishimoto: And that’s how that character was created. But seriously, I’m really jealous of Chopper!
  • Oda: You’ve always been saying that. (laughs)
  • Kishimoto: Actually, I was always thinking of going for a mascot character so I created a pink tadpole character once. I even casually drew that character all over manga volumes and Jump cover pages … but it just didn’t grab people.
  • Oda: (laughs) But a lot of things happen that you don’t account for during your serialization, right? For me, Chopper is an example of that.
  • Question: So it often happens that the story continues in a different way than you planned out in the beginning of the series?
  • Oda: Well, yeah of course. Like, there’s the plot, it was something you thought of yourself when you were still an amateur in your 20s, so of course you’d think of something better now.
  • Kishimoto: Yes, that is exactly it.
  • Oda: You’re all like “I’m not going to lose to my own self from before!” (laughs)
  • Kishimoto: Because you’ve gotten more experience.
  • Question: While on the subject, is there anything you have a particularly hard time drawing?
  • Kishimoto: I’d say I’m not that good at drawing women. But you draw anything, huh?
  • Oda: Anything.
  • Kishimoto: Well me too, I wouldn’t say it’s difficult, but I would say I’m probably not good at drawing things when under the pressure of a deadline and when there’s very little time. Since I’m not “feeling it,” it already takes a lot of time to think of what to draw.
  • Oda: Right, you only want to draw the art you want to draw, right?
  • Kishimoto: You’re drawing it because you like it.
  • Oda: Exactly, people who think we draw because it’s our job are gravely mistaken! (laughs) If anything, this is just an extension of our hobby. Things we don’t want to draw or don’t interest us, we just don’t want to draw them! (laughs)
  • Question: And Kishimoto-sensei’s new series is finally starting in Weekly Shonen Jump‘s April 27 issue.
  • Oda: How many weeks will you be drawing this series?
  • Kishimoto: Mmmm, who knows~
  • Oda: You’re sure you’re not underestimating the work?
  • Kishimoto: What, no of course not. (laughs)
  • Oda: Well, I don’t mean it like that, but are you sure that you and the people around you aren’t underestimating it a bit because you’re all thinking that “[after a fifteen year serialization] a short series is a cinch.”
  • Kishimoto: I don’t know.
  • Oda: It’s a lot different from having to draw every week like I do.
  • Kishimoto: That’s true, it has been a little while since I stopped the weekly serialization so it’s possible that my senses have dulled.
  • Oda: On top of that, the main story of Naruto finished and it’s a new series. Everyone’s expecting a lot from you, so you definitely can’t cut any corners here.
  • Kishimoto: Yeah, you’re right.
  • Oda: I think that in the beginning you’ll totally feel the backlash from having taken a rest.
  • Kishimoto: Because as a manga artist, even if you rest for just one day it’s tough to get back to how you were before that.
  • Oda: Like when you take New Year’s off and you’ve become a bit slower.
  • Kishimoto: I know exactly what you mean. (laughs) You feel like you just can’t draw that well, and the amount of times you use your eraser increases.
  • Oda: When rough sketches you used to be able to draw in one go doesn’t go quite as smoothly as you anticipated and you’re like, “wait what?” It’s weird but the busier you are, the better you become. (laughs) Humans are at their best when they’re completely immersed in something.
  • Question: During your serialization, what was the time you were in most trouble?
  • Kishimoto: Oh, that would be the time I got a slipped disk.
  • Oda: Oh, you were really in bad shape, that was really tough then, huh? (laughs)
  • Kishimoto: It was back when I was drawing the fight with Kakuzu, back then my lungs weren’t in great shape either. Whenever I’d get a little bit tired, I’d be wheezing as if I had pneumonia. When I’d cough, I could feel it hurting in my lower back. It was really tough. In the end they had to publish the pencil-version of the chapter in Jump. Other than that, I’ve also fallen down from the stairs and things like that.
  • Oda: Wait, you did?
  • Kishimoto: Yeah, about 3 years ago? When I went to the onsen with my family, I wasn’t paying attention and fell from the top of a stone stair.
  • Oda: Now that’s dangerous!
  • Question: Was that because you were thinking of a story?
  • Kishimoto: No, I was just tired.
  • Oda: You wouldn’t think of the story while walking down the stairs. (laughs)
  • Kishimoto: I didn’t injure myself badly, but I did think I was going to die the moment I fell. (laughs)
  • Oda: If you did die there you would’ve become a legend, no doubt about that.
  • Kishimoto: But I don’t want to become a legend. (laughs)
  • Oda: Yeah, me neither; I’m not interested in becoming a legend! You’d probably be thinking “If I died like this, I’d become a legend, but what was my life really all about?” the moment you’re about to die. I wouldn’t like to be praised post hoc.
  • Kishimoto: Like Van Gogh, who’d get praised by later generations. I want people to praise me for my work now, while I’m still alive. (laughs)
