Vandalic

I have a new conlang, called Vandalic.  It's basically an attempt to imagine what a surviving Romance language in North Africa would turn out like.  It's strongly influenced by Calabrian, Sardinian, and Maltese.

This is Princess Gisela's speech to Rollo from the last episode of Vikings, season 3.  She gives it in their version of Old French with subtitles in the series itself.  That show, especially the last season, is a feast for lovers of old languages.
