Breeding

In order to breed a kujaro, they must first pass their breeding rites tests. Information on these tests can be found here:
Breeding Rites

Once your kujaro has passed its tests, it can be bred!
To breed your kujaro, organise a breeding with another owner or breed two of your own kujaros.
You can also breed two kujaros that you do not own, as long as you have permission.
Alternatively, you can buy a breeding slot to group owned kujaros that you may use like any other breeding slot.

Rules for breeding:

• A kujaro can only be bred 12 times, unless it earns the fertility bonus which grants it 15 breedings.
• It is highly recommended that you do not breed a kujaro with gigantism or dwarfism. This can result in complications such as dead offspring.
• Both kujaros that you plan to breed together must have their breeding rites.
• Breeding fees and rules regarding litters are up to the owners of the kujaros - the group and admins are not responsible for any disputes between owners, but we will try to help.
• Once you receive your litter, reply to the comment confirming who owns each kit as you claim/sell them.
• You may request up to 5 breedings per month. Any posts after your 5th in one month will be ignored/rejected.

Penalties and risks:

Inbreeding
Inbreeding is when two related animals are bred together. Inbreeding is only safe past the first three generations in the kujaro's lineage (meaning the inbreeding won't be seen in the offspring's lineage). If kujaros that are any more closely related breed, the following penalties will apply:
    • each offspring has 45% chance of being infertile
    • each offspring has 20% chance of death at birth

Breeding kujaros with gigantism:
    • if a normal male and a female affected by gigantism breed, their offspring will be healthy as the female's body will be able to cope with both normal and         abnormal sized offspring.
    • if a male affected by gigantism and a normal female breed, there is a 40% chance that the female's body will terminate the pregnancy in order to avoid         harm to herself, resulting in an empty litter.
Breeding kujaros or dwarfism:
    • if a normal male and a female affected by dwarfism breed, there is a 40% chance that the female's body will terminate the pregnancy in order to avoid             harm to herself, resulting in an empty litter.
    • if a male affected by dwarfism and a normal female breed, their offspring will be healthy as the female's body will be able to cope with both normal and         abnormal sized offspring.
