Suddenly Tanner

One night, Tanner is taking a peaceful walk through Ponyville Park. All of a sudden, he hears somepony crying. He follows the crying to see who it is. Tanner finds himself in front of the bridge in the park, where he finds his special somepony Sera crying and preparing to jump off.

Sera: (in tears) Okay, Sera. You can do this. One, two...

But before she can leap, Tanner jumps in!

Tanner: (to Sera) Sera! What in the name of Celestia are you doing?!

Sera: (to Tanner) Putting myself out of my misery! (jumps off the bridge but Tanner catches her by the tail)

Tanner: (to Sera) Why?!

Sera: (to Tanner, in tears) Because my life is a joke! It's got me singing the blues! I'm a loser! I'm worthless!

Tanner: (to Sera) Wait just a minute. What are you talking about?

Sera: (to Tanner, in tears) Well, just the other day, some of my friends shut me out and said they hated me! And last week, my cat Nyx died!

Tanner: (to Sera) I'm sorry about that.

Sera: (to Tanner, in tears) You're telling me! I had a relationship with him like Twilight & Spike do!

Tanner: (to Sera) And I'm sorry about your... well, former friends. But...

Sera: (to Tanner, in tears) But nothing! I know why they left me! Because I'm ugly!

Tanner: (to Sera) Says who?

Sera: (to Tanner) Says those mean mares from school! Haven't I told you about them?

Tanner: (rolls his eyes) Oh, them. (to Sera) Listen, Sera. It's not true. You're not ugly. Those mares just don't realize how special you are and probably have their own insecurities.

Sera: (to Tanner) At least their cutie marks don't involve igniting dangerous flames!

Tanner: (to Sera) Hey! Your cutie mark means something special. I always loved your fire powers.

Sera stops crying.

Sera: (to Tanner) You really think so?

Tanner: (to Sera) I know so. Your powers represent how good friends warm each other's hearts.

Sera: (to Tanner) But what about my former friends?! I can't imagine living without friends!

Tanner: (to Sera) Listen. Everypony has different opinions about each other. And just because you lost them doesn't mean you don't have any friends at all. You've got your best friend Deluna, and Jimmy Casket, and Flare Fire and Sweet Note, Johnny Toast, Pinkamena, Pinkie Pie, Twilight, Spike, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Creative Spirit, Mariposa, and you got Cal and Freshly Baked and many more. And most of all, you've got me.
