Also MAKE SURE you SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY TO THE GROUP and make sure you read the species rules pages please please please I've had so many chimes submitted without an eye etc please just read this WHOLE JOURNAL and also the species pages!

since many schools are not out yet, there's a tiny tiny chance I will have a small like 3-day contest at the end of summer- don't count on it though!

Rules!- Draw your own Chime, submit it to this group folder here!
- Please submit ONE entry for each DESIGN! If you have more IMAGES of the SAME DESIGN, link to them in the description!
- Terms of Service - Original Species [finally] Read the TOS. Read the TOS. Read the TOS. Know what you're getting yourself into.
- OH I FORGOT PLEASE DO NOT base chimes off of ANYTHING copyrighted etc etc Please MAKE ORIGINAL DESIGNS
- ALSO USE YOUR OWN ART ONLY you can't have someone else design it for you!
- Good-Luck Chimes only! Healthy Chimes only! Chimes in this contest can't show wear or abuse unless it's explicitly stated to be fake and for aesthetic!
- There'll be like 1/10th the final entry amount of winners!
- I'll pick winners based on how interesting/appealing I find the design. Interesting doesn't necessarily mean complex! Just make something you like ;0; If you'd like to write up a personality for your Chime, you may, but that isn't going to count for anything in this contest! This is going just by design.
- Winners will have their Chimes become official, and those who are not chosen can still make (one of) their Chime/s official for $25/2500
- Make as many entries as you like, but know it is only possible for one of yours to win!

- Try not to make a Chime design too similar to an existing one? "Similar" would entail both similar colors and marking or mane type
You will have TWO MONTHS to pay for your Chime, should you choose to buy it! That means the deadline for purchasing your design is July 29th.

How to Purchase a Chime MYO
1) DM me (@burrdog) to let me know you're interested. (Allow 2-4 days for me to get back to you at least, please) 2) I will give you a link to send $25 USD my way! 3) Once you have sent it (let me know), I will confirm & upload your MYO to the @masterlistings account. 4) Once you have designed your MYO please be sure to SEND ME YOUR DESIGN so that I can APPROVE it first. It won't be considered official if you do not get it approved. Thanks! The masterlist account isn't up to date but I will keep track of new MYOs to avoid scamming on toyhouse or whatever's going on over there.
lucky chimes are a closed species
hey folks, I know I SUPER haven't been around here like. hardly at all, but chimes did not magically become an open species in my absence ): Not all bell-head critters are lucky chimes but if you're following my species specs and rules, using my for-funsies registry sheets, and calling your thing a Lucky Chime By Burrdog, then you should know... they're not an open species and you should probably have purchased an MYO before making one v_v; I guess if you need any reasoning for this, generally the closed aspect of the species is so I can have rules to how they work, because I worked hard on making them something I enjoyed and they're still my little babes! I think fondly of them even if it's dropped into hobby territory and isn't my main gig anymore. I want to at least pretend I can maintain that aspect of control on what they are/how they work since that's also at least why Some people were interested in them to start with. If you just want a bell head critter then you can make

Attempt #2 because I made my earlier journal out of panic HAHA!! It's ok if you missed it, I'm going to make the same blanket statements here! Hi! I don't condone knock-off species that are made with the intent of hurting a CS creator. It hurts my feelings when people do things with the intent of hurting me. That was their intent, after all. But! If someone makes a species based on a similar concept, because they like the concept and wanted to play with it, and they are doing this to make themself happy and to have fun, and their intent is NOT to hurt my feelings, then I know how to be understanding and kind! I don't try to stop people from making things anymore. I know that I did, once upon a time (although even then I was not very aggressive about it, just distressed lol), and I regret that too, but I have learned with age! I'm better now. It is primarily intent that gets me to feel ways about stuff. That being said, I still do NOT want to hear about knockoffs or perceived
