This is part of my ideal garden~
I really like going through some sort of unique entrance to the garden so I chose a circle round structure.
Hydrangea which are seen in different colors. At first I thought they are a scented flower but soon found out that they aren't! But they're incredibly beautiful, really couldn't resist adding them! I started throwing in other kinds of flowers I like, like Poppy flowers, Lavender flowers, and Frying pan poppy flowers. I also added a Magnolia flower tree. Not only is it pretty, it smells nice too! Both Magnolia flower and Lavender flower has relaxation scent properties. My hope is for myself and visitors to be able to relax in a nice garden.
Aside from flowers, I introduced vegetables in my garden. From a young age, my father would have me plant vegetables because they are grown from your love and effort, taste better, saves money, and you feel this sense of accomplishment when you see them growing well. So I never felt a garden was 'complete' without vegetables. I did some research on the ones I would like to eat from my own garden. I did not take into consideration at which stage they bloom or sprout so please take note of that.
I place (onion) chives next to carrot because it improves growth and flavor, and keep rust fly larvae from making nasty tunnels in carrots.
Thyme next to purple/red cabbage to drive away worms that eats damage their roots.
Rosemary next to carrot to drive away flies.
Catnip next to eggplants to help keep flea beetles away from damaging the plant.
Hot pepper next to eggplant and tomatoes to help with preventing root rotting.
I added a place to rest around the tree and a wooden platform with a comfy couch and classy table. For the purpose of hanging with friends/family and again for relaxation.
The garden is in a circle formation. I only showed a good majority of the garden. The only missing part is the continuation of the outer half circle.
