So I decided to join an interesting contest/self-promotion Project Portfolio

To abide by the rules I must shamelessly promote myself and a one of the deviants I look up to as well as one with marked potintial. So here goes!

Entry to Ghost Stories Lit. ContestJenny
First we will see the end then the beginning shall become clear. Jenny is walking to the schoolhouse on a chilly autumn day; the way is littered with colorful reds, yellows and orange leaves. Jenny, loves the autumn, however she despises the type of girls that are approaching her. Blond hair and blue eyes approach her with a perky demeanor followed by her elite squad of similar minded cronies.
“Hello, you must be new in town. I am Tia and these are my dearest friends.” The leader of the pack smiles her phony smile and invites Jenny to accompany her on their way to school.
Surprised at the sudden welcome, Jenny follows the group the rest of the way to school. Her doubt of her newest acquaintances reads plainly on her face, furrowed eyebrows, and her green eyes wander around the faces of the others. The black of Jenny’s wardrobe sticks out from the pastels surrounding her, her black hair contrasts against the blonde, brown and red hair in abundance in her peers as Windows to the SoulIf eyes are the window to one's soul, then hands are the doors. Why are the hands the doors? Well, think about it, you can tell ones age by touching and studying their hands much like a door. As the door ages it becomes weathered, and the paint begins to peel, leaving you with a squeaky sound as you open it. Hands will show you wrinkles and the skin begins to thin as age spots appear then arthritis sets in.
If eyes are the window to one's soul, then your skin is the roadmap of your life. Each scar, like places, have stories behind them, skin spots show how you have loved the sun. As age ravages your body, it withers and shows you wrinkles, that resimble the paths that you have taken to get to where you are now. The longer your story the older your skin appears to be.
If eyes are the window to one's soul, then your hair is its history. As it grows it shows your nutrition, and how you have cared for yourself. As you dye it from color to color it grows to show who you really are. You will Cut DownBeautiful and strong she stands tall,
Branches gently swaying in the wind,
Absorbing all of her surroundings,
Her roots are firmly planted.
Seeking nourisment, met with insults,
Poison, pumps through her veins,
Slowly killing her from within,
Standing tall, seemingly unaffected.
Branches fall, appearing as cuts upon flesh,
Those who surround her look away, denial,
Never noticing the pain so close to the surface,
Dying from within, with insults never-ending.
Finally, she succumbs to failed attempts,
Cut down in her prime,
Questions abound.
Don't you see?
It was you!
You, cut her down, so you could build yourself up!

Amarantheans 

I look up to some awesome deviants and one of them is, 
Nesmaty. She is very talented and I do look up to her.
Quite an artist and gifted in CSS.
 

Kirwet99 is my friend who shows amazing potential. She has already improved a great deal and continues to show promise.
