First one of a little series on my experiments around my Insight Light tutorial .
Honestly the most of the entries are quite similar. I have really focussed to the light, and did not change much at the formulas.
This picture is very simple from its structure, but I like that the light looks very clean, and also the semi-trasparent pebbles looked interesting to me.
Notes:
Here (as in all following pictures) I used maps for the actual coloring.
This has not been discussed within the tutorial as it appeared long enough
But it is made quite intelligent as it is possible to separate the usage of color settings if creating pictures.

For the pictures of this series I have mainly played with:
- Diffuse colors to separate the objects which should get certain properties later on.
- Specular colors for the reflection (more exact: the lightness for the amount of transparency, and hue / saturation for a certain amount of specular coloring)
- Transparency as the name states
- Diffuse maps for the main coloring (the wrap types can be used for texture of course).
- Lightmaps, and back pics for fine tuning of coloring, and for some structuring.
- Reflected back pics for a kind of texturing
- Dynamic fog settings
- All reflection + transparency settings for a fine tuning of transparency and several shining and glowing effects
- Interpolated diffuse light gradient
- More systematic tests with diffuse maps
- More systematic tests with reflection + transparency settings
- More systematic tests with background colors, and background pics
- Ambient light settings
- Blended dynamic fog
- Non-IFS formulas
