Pillarslisten:
you are the judicial system of my anatomy.
the following is a lesson on biology.
when you speak
your words form a bolus
in the back of my throat
and carries through
my entire being;
my ugly lungs and heart,
my awful offals, until
they germinate in my stomach
and watermelon vines
grow out of my
mouth.
when the sediment of
your sentiments lodge in my
aorta, capillaries,
clog all my veins and vessels,
your police state mouth
will tell me, "you are now under cardiac arrest."
when I pass on
you will weep with
furrowed brows and ask me,
"shall I go on? shall I be happy?
forget and move on?
is my happiness your happiness?"
and from the afterlife I will
look on you and say no.
do not move on.
do not move forward.
keep looking back and become
pillars of salt;

become melancholy
monuments of my absence.
for when I go down I will bring
everyone down with me.

Comic SansYesterday,
I painted lips on the lower part of my face,
Pinned up the corners with sharp needles
And went out where the happy people live.
I stretched the muscles of my cheeks
In the shape of past emotions,
I bound my limbs with strings
And made them move jerkily
In a crooked performance
With rules I no longer understand,
Until I lay there exhausted and numb
Because
Life has become broken and frightening.
Today,
The bright light melts my mouth,
Sealing my voice within.
My ears collapse under the silence,
I cannot lift my eyelids anymore.
I want to beg:
"Please, I am so very hungry and weary.
Please, give me a smile,
Just a small one,
To wear outside
So that
I can seem normal.
Please!"
Tomorrow,
I will tell lies.
Please, believe me,
I am waiting for my meds to kick in.

Suggester says: What I am trying to say is that by writing this they can reach so many people who can't express their thoughts at all, let alone through written works, and that connection is what makes this, and the understanding brought by it, magic.

Bobo     Bobo peered through the smeared glass of his enclosure, considering all of the unusual names inscribed on the little metal placards of the other exhibits.
Suricata suricatta
Panthera onca
Choloepus didactylus
Hylobates syndactuylus
Varecia variegata

And then he considered his own name. Bobo.
It was a Portuguese word meaning silly, foolish, buffoon, clown...
Names like Suricata suricatta, and his caretakers considered him to be the foolish one?
But Bobo didn't mind living in the zoo. He knew that a lot of the animals did. That it stressed them out to be kept in such tight and restrictive confines, strangers gawking in at them every day, invading their territories, feeding them food despite the signs clearly instructing them not to do so, making them sick.
Some animals simply weren't cut out for confined living.
     But Bobo w
