Boeing C97

Went to an inn today on June 21st 2015.

This particular Boeing has an interesting history.

The story goes that this plane flew to it's final resting place when Farah Fawcett herself got painted on it for a TV commercial shot a long time ago.

Unlike most Boeings of ww2, this is a fuel plane and has no machine gun pods mounted onto it whatsoever.

The plane's main purpose is to carry fuel, cargo and house up to 100+ troops.

The jet engines are massive at 10' and the propellars are 12' each.

Other interesting facts about this plane includes a barely visible paint residue saying "California Air Force Base" on the right side of the plane.

Which means this plane was from a California AF base. Which one? I don't know.
