Masha belongs to Lady-Oolong

It's been a long time that I had decided to draw the character of La Damothé and the opportunity came to me when someone asked me to draw a lady with a pretty dress and a hat. Just like that. To see what I could do. I accepted the challenge (which is not especially challenging). Masha is a character that I do not know well, but the design and the idea are absolutely amazing. Despite having abandoned the straw hat that is the signature of the Southern Belle, I have kept the overall aesthetics and crinolines of the period (with a late 1860s twist) to keep my ink not accurate but at least harmonious. I used the work of the artist Harry Clarke and Kay Nielsen as general inspiration for her pose (in part) and some decorative elements (mostly the trees). It really is a drawing that was done quickly and without much precision, but I had a lot of fun doing it. I find it lacks detail, but I didn't have so much time these days (including a wedding that has occupied my w-end)

Ma très chère peste, Masha, celle que vous aurez tous envie d'étrangler quand vous la connaitrez bien ♥ ! Elle va bien avec ton style, j'aime beaucoup la finesse de ton trait, comme d'habitude c'est raffiné, détaillé, donc forcément, je gagatise à mort ! J'aime toujours autant tes références et les réflexions qui sont derrière les dessins ♥ même si selon toi c'est moins détaillé qu'à l'accoutumée, je trouve quand même ça génial moi ! Et je te remercie du fond du cœur, parce que ça fait tellement de bien de voir ce genre de cadeau spontané. Ca me touche énormément, tu ne peux pas imaginer. Alors vraiment, merci pour tout T______________T !!
