 - our "Hanukkah" color, they celebrate the hope of light in the middle of winter's blues. The gold and silver flecks can be seen on either gender, and the fleck color will always match the eye. If a horse has silver eyes and flecks, they will have gold beneath their eyes and vice versa! The mare's base colors of being darker than the stallion colors is correct, however
