Black Dragons Refsheet

Before you read this, please note, that these information do only refer to the dragons of my fantasy world Caldarah, not to all Black Dragons in general.

And yes, if you want to, you can create yourself such a Black Dragon too, if you follow some rules:

1. Your character is already dead in current times :/, but might have had a neat adventurous time before the genocide …

2. Create no Adoptables, the dragon is for your use only! (Or fanservice )

3. No weird crossings with other fandoms, like: “My black dragon is the husband of Cynder from the Legend of Spyro." Please don’t do that.

4. Don't claim this breed as your own creation...

And that’s all I’d really love to see some fan Blackies around DA.

Some more information:

- The Black Dragon Tribe was obliterated by the Red Dragon Tribe around 250 years ago. Aarok the Black is the only dragon, who survived the cruel ambush but by far not the only Black Dragon around. There have been rumors, that one of two messengers of the Black Tribe might have survived, since they were not present during the event but they’d never been seen afterwards.

- Black Dragons were highly territorial and stayed most of their life near their realm, except for hunting. They lived very reclusive to other tribes and only forged alliances with the Reds Dragons and the Earthcrawler. There are records of single Black Dragons, that left their tribe to go on adventures, with other dragons and even humanoids. Most of them returned after a while.  

- With a size of about 200 dragons, they were the smallest tribe of Caldarah and lived nearly all in the same mountain chain.

- Like all of Hevraels’ creations they have a very slow reproduction cycle, with females, who only got fertile each 15-20 years. The clutch always consisted of a single egg, that is strongly protected by it’s parents.

- Different to other dragons, they never bred with members of other tribes, since they considered their selves to be of “purer blood” than the rest.

- They loved shiny objects, like gems or metals and liked to wear or hoard them.

- Their preferred habitats were mountains with caves, they disliked open fields, woods and coasts.

- They are omnivores, but mainly eat meat.
