Blue angel basic

Once more I have an edit deriving from what Sari uploaded as Lara Croft in winter action 2 back in 2012 (photo taken by her sister). This one reflects the extensive general editing I did before adding driving snow and other effects to make Blue angel. I thought I'd upload this for anyone who'd like the actual scene that day. Sari looks completely amazing of course (thank you Finland ). The download is quite large at 668 KB, but if I'd used a lower quality, the fine detail of Sari's home-made sweater would've got too blurred, which would never do. High quality jpg for high quality knitwear, that's what I say! To compare this with the dramatized version (it's kinda fun), have both pages open in separate browser tabs and switch back and forth. Have the images at full size to see them sharpest.

Actually the scene isn't quite 100% genuine. After rotating the original image to try and level things out, I cropped it to focus more closely on Sari, but my crop went partly outside the rotated image area to get the wideness I wanted, so I had to synthesize a thin slice of background scenery along an edge to fill empty space. But hopefully it blends in ok and you never noticed. One other thing is, a few areas of the ground snow had so much glare that there was little or no image detail to bring out, so I added some texturing of my own to compensate.
