So here is how this works: It's a superpower, okay? But with limitations of access. Meaning: Vee will only turn into a phoenix when strong emotions are triggered; anger for example; or if she gets strongly inspired by something that happens or she sees.

Explanation:
The blackbird, Vee, being my soul character, she is my comical incarnation of my life, my feelings, etc. The comic strips I make with her are serving as a sort of ... diary entries. Very random tough.
Now, you probably know the feeling of something inspiring you, or something making you suddenly very happy. Music for example, a great song that makes you wanna jump and dance. Your body ejects happines hormones and you feel suddenly much more alive. That's why: Catching fire. The Phoenix.
