Okay, I'm done. I don't want to make APH my main fandom anymore. I've been thinking about this for a while now, thinking of how to convey what I want to say... but then I realised it would turn into one huge complaint. Besides, I've been an active member of the APH community (the OC side in particular) since I was 15. What kept me in it for so long was the love for my ocs, friends and the desire to learn more about the world.

I don't need APH to drive that passion again - or to be more exact, it simply doesn't drive the passion anymore. For a while I was able to revive the passion when I thought it was gone, but now it's getting further than ever before. I could go into the thing in more depth, but I'd rather not do it here. Nope.

So from now on, I want to give my account more of an original project focus. So if you are watching me purely for APH/APH OC fanworks, you're looking to the wrong place for it. That's okay, I know plenty of amazing artists who go into the APH/APH OC thing that I'm sure you can follow instead! Though from time to time I will submit trades/gifts/etc for other people based around fandoms, that's it for fandom shit from me now. But if you're still interested in seeing my original shit, then neato.

This isn't me trying to cut contacts. I still want to be friends and talk with people. I'm happy to discuss fandoms we have in common. I just don't want to actively partake in it with fanworks and the like.

My projects from now on will mostly consist of:

  • THE MYSTIC SHOW - a novel series I am writing based around a group of young adults who get trapped in a virtual world, not knowing that their adventures are being broadcast internationally. ['The New Reality' is not the series name, just the name of the first novel]
  • BLOOD OF FAY - a visual novel game I am planning. I will release more details at a later date. [DRAFT TITLE BTW]
  • AOTEAROA AND FRIENDS - My New Zealand OC now detached from APH. Mini comics about her and my OCs of New Zealand cities. Contains random trivias on them.

these five. In leaving APH fandom, I realise I cannot keep them alive. But I don't want to see like, 5 years of work go down the drain either. That's legit just under a quarter of my lifespan, omfg. I want to adopt them out so other people can breathe life into them and let them breathe in APH community too...

And no I don't want to turn them into non-APH personifications like with my New Zealand OC. NZ is my home country and I have a lot of base to work from. I have no desire to make ask accounts for my

This is not a 'first-come, first-served' thing. I have some conditions first, if you are interested in adopting them:
  • unlike my other OCs I adopted out, I still want my name attached to these guys. I put a lot of effort into making these OCs. So rather than a normal adoption, it's more like a JOINT OWNERSHIP.
  • which means you're free to consider the OC your own and do fanworks and make headcanons and roleplay, start an ask account, even edit stuff... just please, if you're gonna edit the OC, run it by me first. There may have been headcanons I had for a reason that I don't particularly want discarded.
  • By all means you can consider the OC yours, just don't erase my name ever. Make it clear I came up with the initial character concepts. Hell, for some of them, Philippines especially, I did practically all of the fucking work, omg. You're free to make new reference sheets for the OC/s in your style/account, but honey, I'm the original source. C: Well ok no, I got my research from other places too, but you get what I mean. With all my long write-ups, that was all put into my own words. I never copy-paste from wiki and call it a day.
  • you gotta be an active member of the APH community. I've seen people adopt my other OCs only to never acknowledge them again. I'm not asking for constant activity, I'm really not... just uh... if you think you're on the verge of leaving fandom too, don't bother, mmkay? ^^;
  • YOU ARE FREE TO ADOPT ONE OF THESE AND MAKE THE OC A NON-HETALIA PERSONIFICATION. Just ask me first though, okay?
  • please respect my wishes when it comes to ships. Care more about the individual character than any ships.
  • You gotta be a mutual friend. If I don't watch you, or if you don't watch me, then nah.
  • whoever wants Albania and gets him, pls change his outfit. pls. i hate it now but idk what i want to put him in.
So if you're interested, please note me! Let me know which OC you are interested in and your intentions behind what you'd like to do with the character.

By the way, you don't have to pay points with these adopts. The greatest reward I could ever get is someone who loves my OC as much as I do and continues to give them life when I'm no longer able to continue doing so.

You're not the only one. I used to be so ingrained in the hetalia fandom. Now all I do in it is watch the new episodes, read translated blog posts and see drawings himaruya made, and read comics involving my favorite characters. I haven't worked on my oc for a while either. However my ships still stand lol. I wish you the best of luck in your original and future projects!
