Description
Kyle had been working with King extensively in preparation for the Horse of the Year Show and the 1st International Equestrian Event at GHS. King had improved by leaps and bounds since Kyle had started the more intense training regimen. Kyle had no doubt King would do fantastic at this competition, even if he didn't win.
King shuffled around excitedly underneath Kyle. Both contestants were ready to start. Finally, it was their turn. King pranced into the arena elegantly and Kyle pointed him in the direction of the first jump. King knew what to do-Kyle barely had to do anything. King picked up the pace as he approached the first jump. Kyle pushed his feet into the stirrups and leaned forward. King dug his back feet into the sand, and pushed off to go over the jump. Kyle moved the reins ever so slightly as they were landing to direct King towards the second jump. The chestnut stallion made it over the jump with no problems - he'd judged the height and distance perfectly, and kept his hooves and legs far above the bars.

King's first full show entry!
i'm really proud of this, because of the jump detail/angles/perspectives, and the shadows on the ground, and the shading on King.
I'm just really digging everything about this piece~
