CH 11.1, Useless

Jin and Eruki quickly carried Zhenwu to their clan village. Zhenwu still remains unconscious due to loss of blood.

They arrived to Zhenwu’s house and brought Zhenwu to his room.

[Jin] Finally we are here! Eruki!
[Eruki] Right!

Eruki quickly brings out her needles. Jin turns Zhenwu over where his wounds are shown to Eruki. Eruki quickly stitch his opened wounds with a healing thread tied to a needle.

It took a moment as Eruki close his wounds. Zhenwu still bleeds as she does it.

[Eruki] Done!

Eruki finally finished with blood on her hands.

[Jin] Good, now we just let him lay there until his wounds are healed.

Few minutes later, Jin quickly examines Zhenwu's injuries using his Dark Eyes’ accurate vision. Zhenwu is on the floor with his back facing up. As he looks closer to his wounds, he sees something bad.

[Jin] (Damn.. Not good..) We saved Zhenwu, but with his current state, he's useless for our clan.
[Eruki] Why??
[Jin] That last attack done on him, messed up his chi system. He’s now scarred with a small chi capacity when he’s supposed to have a normal chi capacity like most of us. And because of that, his fire and lightning elements are useless because they require a lot of chi. He’s basically useless to the clan if he can’t use those elements, especially the fire element.
[Eruki] He's still useful! Even if he can't use Fire and Lightning, it doesn't mean he's useless!
[Jin] I don't know Eruki. Right now he's just a weak person for our clan. He won't be of much use for us.
[Eruki] Tch..

After that, Jin and Eruki wait on Zhenwu’s wounds to be healed. Jin is standing along the wall while Eruki is sitting next to Zhenwu on the floor.

Few minutes later as they waited, Jin sees the wounds are all healed.

[Jin] His wounds should be all right by now, let's bandage him up and put him in bed.

They carefully bandaged around Zhenwu's body. After they done that, they put him into his bed.

[Eruki] When will he be conscious?
[Jin] From what I am seeing now, he should be in a few days.

Eruki stares down at Zhenwu with grief.

[Jin] I gotta go somewhere now, see you later.

Jin left the room, only Eruki remains there with Zhenwu.

[Eruki] Don't worry Zhenwu...you are not useless.
I'll find a way...a way... to make sure you are not useless.
To make sure...no one calls you “useless" again.
I will always watch over you...to make sure you are safe.
