M O N T E   O D D E U

All Monte can remember from his fawnhood was wanting to grow up and become a good soldier. He spent much of his childhood learning from his father, who was a Lieutenant at the time. Born the second fawn in his family, he immediately took a liking to his younger sister born two years after him, acting the protector already at such a young age.

Three years later, though, his mother gave birth to two beautiful twin fillies and passed away during the process. Less than a year later, Leir passed away while on patrol, his declining health and yearning for his deceased mate leading to poor performance in battle. This left Monte the caretaker of three young fillies at the ripe young age of 6, but he took it into stride alongside his newly assigned rank as a recruit.

Four years later, after his youngest sisters turned five, Monte turns his sights towards a family of his own after he meets Keavy, an entrancing doe. The two hit it off immediately, and welcomed their first fawn into their lives a few seasons later. Little Nayomi was the light of both of their lives and Monte was overjoyed.

However, it was not to last. Keavy, bent on rescuing her mother who had long ago been kidnapped to Blackwood, disappears. Monte blames himself, and, like his father before him, withdraws into himself. Though he swore to never become like his father and abandon his child, Monte became a shell of himself, grief cutting him deep and causing him to become far more protective, albeit emotionally distant from his young daughter. He fears that he could have done better and 

Time passed, however, and Keavy successfully returns with her mother in tow! Monte is overjoyed at her reappearance and sees that a change has come over her. Blessed by the gods of Silverthorne, she possessed a beautiful flaming mane and tail, sparkling feathers adorning her visage. Monte believes he has never seen a more beautiful fawnling, and counts himself blessed to be able to call her his love and his mate. 

It wasn't until years later that the pair decided to have another fawn after spending time together and enjoying each other's company.
