Description

Hello there all!

I was planning on running a Pathfinder game with ponies sometime soon-ish for my friends using Roll20 for the purposes of combat maps and such. Unfortunately, Roll20 does not exactly have character tokens for MLP styled characters, so I decided to make pictures that people could use as their tokens.

This particular character, named Thunderburst by the person playing him, is the first image that I have made. It is not quite done yet - he is still lacking a Cutie Mark, which the player was going to draw himself before giving it to me. I was also hoping to draw his starting armor (studded leather) onto him, but that is still in progress.

The character was described as having sort of a windswept mane. For this, I "borrowed" Soarin's mane, and also traced out his tail before modifying it to be a bit shorter (I may or may not shorten it more in the future). Color scheme was described as having a white coat, but stained black around the muzzle from "firearm tinkering and usage" (he is playing as a Gunslinger). I talked with him and it was eventually changed to a very light grey instead of white. Regardless of coat color, I do like how his mouth and nose interact with the dark spot. His mane was described as "darkish yellow," but given his intended combination of white with yellow my friend was concerned about him looking like a "Suprise-colored Soarin." I think I managed to avoid the Suprise-colored part at least. His Cutie Mark, whenever it is finished, is supposed to look like a "multicolored firework burst."

This version is equipped with his starting weapon, a blunderbuss (which came out looking exceptionally cartoony, exactly as planned) as well as the holding bit that he needs to wield it. The trigger design I will admit is stolen from Fallout: Equestria. It really seems like the best way for an equine character to wield a gun without needing help. I will also admit that I am not happy how the thing on his back suddenly terminates at his neck, but I wasn't 100% sure how exactly to handle that.

I also have no idea how he is supposed to load that thing.

A version that is lacking the gun and holding bit is here: fav.me/d9c9wf3

This character's design was made by my friend, if you want to use it please ask me and I'll try to get it to him.
