When he was a tinny Poochyena,her mother used to dress him with girlish and cute clothes and dresses, and all of the Pokejinkas around him always said that he was so cute or thought that he was actually a girl. Because of that he hated every cute thing and he trained himself to be the coolest Pokejinka in the world to be a contest star with his team, whose members would be trained by him to be Beautiful, Strong, Cool or Smart, and swore that he would NEVER train someone to be cute or much cute than it already was.

Years passed and he meet his Idol, Marshall Sahppire, when Marshall and his team where acting in one of those contests that the tinny Poochyena liked so much to attend. Since then, his training became harder, he was obsessed with his dream after seeing such a spectacle, and because his mother hated to see that her adorable son was becoming more and more rebellious and refused to be adorable, Yami ended up running away from home in his 15th.

Finally, his hard training allowed him to evolve into a Mightyena, and some years latter he meet a girl which became the first piece of his dream, Pheebee. He trained her in order to turn her into a beauty star, and nicknamed her as Mykoro when she evolved into Milotic. The gratitude of the girl was such that she adopted the nickname as his new name and accepted to help him in his dream, so in order to help him, when her training was completed, she went to another region searching for more members for the team.

Now a days he lives alone in the mountains in the South-East coast of Ghastron, and sometimes come down from the mountains to visit the place where he met his friend and pupil Mykoro.

He's searching for new teammates to achieve his dream of conquere every contest category. He's taking the Cool category, his pupil Mykoro is trying to lose her stage fright to take the Beauty category, and there are two suitors for the Thoug and Smart categories, perhaps in time they begin to be trained.
