Nemo's eyes traveled back down to the Arcanine, and what he found surprised him a bit. He was no longer glaring at him as if searing his soul; he was staring at the container in his hand. The dog was visibly less agitated already… Another grin slowly grew on Nemo’s face at his idea and he returned his gaze to the owner of the ‘mon.

“I still feel bad about all of this; let me at least do something for the big guy, yeah?” Nemo tried again, lifting the box up and popping the top off a little. “I have some leftovers if he likes grilled pork? And bread. If you’re okay with that, I mean!”

The last part was added quickly, seeing how he didn’t want to make things even more awkward. What if the guy was one of those kinds of owners that were super uppity about their pets? Not that it was a bad thing or anything! Nothing wrong with that at all! But… well, it was the least the skateboarder could do for the pup he ran over.
