Rumycandia is a large educational facility for teens known raise a number of excellent members of society from politicians to magicians to professors. It is also a research and higher education institute that conducts scientific expeditions of magic and alchemy. 

The school is located in the middle of a large semi-technological island where humans live. The school is accessible by various modes of transportation such as train, car, and other vehicles similarly like our current world transportation. Some of these modes of transportation may be fueled by advance magical technology. But various students from abroad stay in the dorms provided on campus.

Uniform

There is a dress code for students here consisting of teal, white, and black. Similar colors that can be found in the school's insignia emblem.

The uniform must be worn modestly, then again there are always rulebreakers who don't care for wearing the uniform correctly or customizing it to their personal tastes.

Emblem

The school has a fancy emblem with a fairy mascot. 
It is not known if this fairy is a symbol of the mysterious fairies that have been randomly appearing on campus but somehow are connected to these fairies.
 

School System

The school is an organized educational center meant to help students socialize and learn and thus runs in a specific manner geared to utilize time and efficiency in learning.

Courses

Students are to take a variety of general educational courses along with electives depending on what they'd like to pursue after graduation.

Ranks

Rumycandia is a competitive school and it is said the top 5% are the elite status students here, typically easily recognized as the best in the school, and offered the most opportunity once graduating the academy.
The elite are given special status and privileges for their marks which includes free lunch vouchers.

Student Council

There is a student council which governs the student body and student activities. Unlike the elite, those part of the student council are chosen by popular vote. However typically elite status students wind up in the student council as a recognition from peers.

Disciplinary Committee

The Disciplinary Committee helps teachers and student council members enforce school rules and well handle misfits and disputes that may occur on campus.

Clubs

Besides school courses, there are various extracurricular and hobby interest groups that occurs before and/or after school hours where students with the same interest enjoy the club's activities with one another such as sports.

History

Before Rumycandia was created, magic and alchemy was based on a mentoring system where a student must seek his/her teacher and become their apprentice. However Alchemists and Magicians were scarce as the trade was difficult one to master and many were unwilling to teach.

Unlike the stingy Alchemists and Magicians who didn't wish to share their trade secrets, a man decided to change it all, finding joy in teaching those about the world of magic and alchemy.

Rumycandia was built on such ideals by a man who wished to fulfill his dream of making a school focused on alchemy and magic by offering such knowledge more accessible to those who wished to learn.

He met and helped a fairy and in exchange for helping her, the fairy made his dreams come true. Their friendship made a long lasting pact, and now fairies frequently visit from their own world to Rumycandia in hopes to find a great partner to help them suceed in their own school.

Fairies

Fairies are the mysterious species hiding in Rumycandia observing humans in the academy.

Fairies come in various sizes but typically seen as big as your hand.
How else can they hide at the academy if they were so large?

Fairies despite rumors do not live on Rumycandia.
They come from Fairytopia, as they are born and raised there.

Fairy Kingdoms

Fairytopia is split into various kingdoms:
Sweets Kingdom
Alchemia
Historia
Sport Central
Mathematica
Phonetica
Melodyland
Galleria
MagicaTech

Depending on what kingdom were born and raised in, they excel in certain magical abilities. They apparently cannot learn other kingdom's expertises as their magic is born and inherent not able to be taught to others. 

Typically these kingdoms compete annually showcasing their best of their craft. The winner of the competition is recruited into the royal house to serve the king and queen of Fairytopia,  thus fairies search for human partners in hope to hone their abilities.

Humans who are partnered with fairies may have visited Fairytopia, if guided by their fairy partner and taking on a fairy form to explore the fairy world. How to get to the fairy world is a rather mystery though.
